in more pleasant news: this year is seeing the biggest humpback migration in Australian history, bigger than it was PRE whaling. That's right, there are more humpbacks migrating off the coast of Australia than there were BEFORE industrial whaling started.

Shouldn't large amounts of old and disabled people in a country be the sign of good? That means that your healthcare is at least good enough to keep disabled people alive and for a long time.
If all the people in a society are able bodied then you failed as a society because it means all your disabled people have died
Disabled? yes. Old? some follow up questions need to be asked.
what do you mean by that
Or, and hear me out, a country full of able-bodied people means your healthcare is so advanced that you could make your disabled individuals able-bodied again...
I'm not talking about sci-fi though, I mean actual real life
also not every disabled person wants to be able bodied inherently??? like why you assuming everyone in a wheel chairs greatest dream is to walk again and not instead like,,,,,, accessible infrastructure that makes living in a wheelchair not a total nightmare and healthcare that helps manage chronic pain and illness symptoms and a social infrastructure that doesnt require one to work to live
