good morning, moots! thinking about how werewolves, like actual werewolves, are a thing in the t.wilight. not like the pack who are shapeshifters. children of the moon are their version of werewolves... and they are said to be able to kill vampires single-handedly. idk about you, but i kind of wish that there was more involving them.

i have made mentions of this a couple times, but i wanted to reiterate and bring more attention to it: angela is a witch, a green witch specifically. what is crazier about this is the fact that she was born into a highly religious family ( lutheran ). her father is the minister of the local church— abiding love lutheran church. here is the real kicker. angela is a generational witch; it runs in her blood. it comes from her father's side of the family, and dates back all the way to the salem witch trials ( probably even further if they cared to look into it ). after the trials, their family had attempted to “ breed out the magic ” in their bloodline, rid themselves of it by becoming heavily involved in varied religions. it skipped over quite a few generations: great great grandparents, great grandparents, grandparents and her father. not a single one of them have magic. angela's magic did not kick in until her junior year of high school, but she did her best to keep it under wraps. it scared her. what does this mean? where did it come from? she knew that her family would have nothing to do with her if they knew. the way that she was raised, witchcraft was heresy. if they had found this out earlier than they had, she could only imagine that they would have sent her away. no one else could know. it was senior year that she had began to dabble in her magic, in the attempt to learn how to handle it. she had done extensive research on the matter. books, articles on the web, guides and more; she looked into it all. each of these had explained to her that she needed to focus her intentions, avoid anything energy-draining or overly negative, and solidify yourself with your element. angela had always felt a significant connection to nature throughout her life. there was a need to always be outdoors, tending to plants, or speaking to the trees. it felt natural to her, as if it is what keeps her grounded.

angela is what i like to call ‟ the green lady ”, or the embodiment of nature itself. it bends to her will. her abilities include: plant manipulation, nature / elemental manipulation, and entity manipulation ( think poison ivy and her plant creatures ). it can be said that she is a force of nature.

of course, in her excitement of learning about her abilities, she had decided to show her family thinking that maybe they would come to understand her. that they would see how this is not a terrible thing. the twins were over-the-moon about it. their older sister was able to control plants! how many people could say that? her parents, on the other hand, looked at her as though she was the greatest evil that they had ever come to face. a mistress of satan, her father had called her. wretched thing— i should have killed you, her mother hissed.

it is safe to say that angela has had no contact since. the only family members she remains in contact with are the twins, but even that is done in secret.
