It’s that time of year again, folks!

Georgia Falls is once again hosting a photoshoot/meet up at DragonCon!

We’ll be meeting on Friday, August 31 at 1PM on the 5th floor of the Hilton. We hope to see as many folks there as we can, because this year it’s not just a photoshoot, it’s a BIRTHDAY PARTY!! 

DragonCon falls on Dipper and Mabel’s birthday this year, so we’re planning a little shindig to celebrate! I’m asking for anyone planning to attend the photoshoot to please, PLEASE, RSVP to the Facebook Event. If we want to make this an actual party, I will need folks to volunteer to bring goodies, and the best place to get that all organized will be on Facebook! 

We really do hope you all plan to come and pitch in to make this event a lot of fun! Please make sure you spread the word about the event, both on social media and word of mouth at the con. So please signal boost this!

Hello, everyone! Georgia Falls here to announce our annual Gravity Falls Photoshoot at Dragon Con! 

We’re sad to report that one of our mods won’t be able to make it this year, but we’re sure you guys will have lots of fun in her stead! 

We’ll be meeting in the same place as we have for the last few years, the 5th floor of the Atlanta Hilton from 1-2 PM on Friday, September 1. We will give about 5-10 minutes for folks to arrive late before we start taking pictures, but if you do get there late, you can just join right in!

Dragon Con was a blast, and Anime Weekend Atlanta will be here before we know it! 

We’re regrettably only able to organize one meet up this year, as Saturday is really the only day that the Georgia Falls co-captains can make it to the con! 

The photoshoot will be on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 2-3 PM. We'll be meeting at the mythical "Cobb Galleria Entrance," which we're interpreting as the "area to the right of the main drive/drop off/entrance with the grass and shrubs were we did one of the shoots last year," since the photograph on the AWA website of the shooting location is unrecognizable as any place that actually exists. Super specific, I know. Look for the pine tree hats; you can't miss us!

Dragon Con will be here before we know it, and once again @smolscavenger and I are putting together a meet up. As fun and crazy and successful as last year’s Steven Falls Over photoshoot was, we are thrilled to only be handling ONE fandom this year!  We will be meeting up in the same spot as we did last year for the meet up, which turned out really great! Just keep me off the furniture. ;) We’ll be meeting on Saturday, Sept. 3rd on the 5th floor of the Hilton at 3:30-4:30. We will try to give time for people to arrive late before we start taking pictures. If you DO arrive after photos have started, just jump right in! And if you’re not in a Gravity Falls costume, that’s OK too! You are totally welcome to come hang out with us! 

As usual, there should be plenty of time before and after to hang out and chat for those who want to. If no one else claims the space after us, I’d like to see about having a Journal 3 discussion for those who’ve read it and want to stick around and talk about all the answers we got, and those we’re still frustrated we didn’t get.

Friday Meetup at Momocon

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that the meet up on Friday will take place at 5 as planned, and we’ll meet up at the Hall A/B fountain!

There is nothing in the official photoshoot schedule meeting at this time, but it’s possible that some other groups may be there. It’s a pretty open space, and I’m not expecting a huge turn out (but I’m prepared to be surprised because I have no idea how many people will show up to either event at this point), so I’m not foreseeing a problem. We can always relocate once we have a good chunk of people anyway.

I’ve updated the original Momocon post about this, so please, PLEASE reblog it, since Momocon didn’t seem to be able to use the event link I gave them when I signed us up for the photoshoot slot. Whatever.
