I genuinely hope George starts being as much of a cunt as everyone thinks he is
gonna be hater for a second. every comms person saying kimi doesn't falter under pressure... THAT'S BECAUSE HE HASN'T BEEN GIVEN ANY!! AND THE ONE TIME HE HAD TO TO GO W2W WITH GEORGE HE MESSED UP AND BITCHED ON THE RADIO. DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH.
😞...
george saying that he wished he could take the blame for what happened. that he could sleep better if all of these were because of his own faults 😞
george russell getting a penalty, watching his team fail to serve the penalty, and getting slapped with another penalty because they "forgot about it"
people hate george for the reasons i love him and thats because im on a higher plane of existence. there’s levels and im up there
it’s over when you don’t feel confident in the car and George just did not feel confident in that car at all this quali 😔
i feel sick bomb this sport pls
The Tencent Sports interviewer said that many fans feel frustrated and believe George has been treated unfairly due to recent bad runs. George responded by sharing a message with his fans 😭🥹🩵 — via WendyW on xiaohongshu
George Russell: To all my fans, especially my Chinese fans who've been supporting me through it all, I'm just so, so grateful. And you know what? It's super important that you keep spreading good vibes and positive messages. Yeah, it sucks seeing all the negativity out there, but we shouldn't let that bring us down or make us act like them. We can just let those negative people be, because honestly, we're way better than that. it is important for them to spread good energy and positive message, as difficult as it is to see negativity, we should never lower standards to combat that, we can let these people being negative, and be hurtful but we are better than that.

you’ll never meet a gr63 fan who’s alright in the head 😭
Blocking anybody I see make a positive Kimi Antonelli post in the next 24 hours, stay vigilant
yk like if it was genuinely a skill issue on george's part, fair, that's racing. but the sheer unfairness of this dnf is actively killing me
"i've got no qualms about it" meanwhile i'm over here making qualm chowder
Not sure if this will make 63s feel any better, but after George’s car stopped right in front of my grandstand and he made his way over the barrier, many of us started cheering and clapping for him (after he had cooled down a bit and took off his helmet), trying to rally him back to life a little. Even through the very visible pain he was in, he flashed us all a couple smiles and waves of appreciation. Like he just experienced the horrors™ and he was still so kind and appreciative. That’s just the kind of guy he is. Love him dearly
Yesterday left me lost for words. Getting to go to a GP and see my driver have the most spectacular weekend, all for it to end like that. Felt numb for the rest of the race. Couldn’t even enjoy it, even though Lewis put on a good show towards the end. Just couldn’t believe it. Still can’t believe it. To make it even worse George’s car stopped RIGHT in front of my grandstand, so I got a front row view of his misery. It was just so surreal in the most terrible way to see him right in front of me in that state. And people fucking cheered when his car stopped. I’ll never forget seeing how distraught and in disbelief he looked. Not sure how much of that they broadcasted but it was sooooo painful to see.
I know I’ll probably look back on this experience more fondly in the future, because it really was such an incredible weekend up to that point. And I’m lucky to have gone and spent it with the people I love, but I’m just so sad about how it ended for George. 😔
George’s quali lap was spectacular, his overtake on Kimi in the race soooo good, and his defending amazing to see. I’ll always root for George no matter what 🩵
