hi, I’m Fae, and this account is made for my Geraskier* brainrot, as well as general the witcher appreciation, as someone who has been reading fics of them for a year now

I want to make masterlists of fics and have a few already planned (featuring fics I’ve read), so if any of you have specific recs you’d like to see, don’t hesitate to shoot me an ask! I will mostly rec fics on ao3 as that’s the easiest platform to work with, and they should be coming every Friday at 12pm (UTC+2). I am all alone doing these so I can’t promise I’ll always stick by it but I’ll try my best.

According to legend, the hearts of soulmates beat as one.

For as long as Jaskier could remember, he had been frail. His parents hired countless healers over the years, all of whom said the same thing: there was something wrong with his heart.

It beat too slowly most days—soft, sluggish, and uncertain—only to suddenly race without warning, pounding hard enough to leave him breathless.

Because of this fragility, Jaskier spent much of his life indoors. His love of music began as a gentle pastime, one that wouldn’t strain his heart like running or play might. Still, his parents nearly fainted when he announced his intention to study in Oxenfurt.

Then he met Geralt.

And for the first time, Jaskier’s heart felt steady—beating strong and sure, as though it had finally found its rhythm.

I love to see a more serious version of Jaskier, where he isnt the famous troubadour but the very respected Professor Pancratz, master of the seven liberal arts. Geralt wouldnt know what to do with himself.

This whole mess began when Geralt was helping Yennefer train Ciri in magic. One thing led to another, and now he’s somehow stuck wandering through different worlds.

So far, Geralt has seen realms of burning fire, places where people drove strange horseless carriages, and even one world entirely without shrimp—which got dull very quickly.

In some worlds, though, things weren’t so different from his own. In one, he even met another version of himself—one who was married to Jaskier. It was a pleasant world… until that other Geralt punched him.

“I’m looking for Jaskier,” Geralt asked a student at Oxenfurt Academy in yet another world.

The student blinked at him. “Do you mean Professor Pankratz?”

“I suppose I do,” Geralt said.

“Wait here,” the student replied, before hurrying off. Moments later, an older man appeared, leaning on a cane.

“Master witcher, what can I do for you?” asked Professor Pankratz—who was unmistakably Jaskier, just older and wiser.

When Geralt finally makes it back to his own world, he’s definitely going to have to ask Jaskier a few questions about his age.
