Johnny let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "Yeah, I know. I'm just -ah- not used to being more than a notch on a belt." He gave her a small smile. Things were going to be different now, he wasn't sure how he felt about that. Admitting how he felt about her, even to himself, meant a lot of things were going to change.

Then again, change had been pretty good to Johnny recently. His smile deepened and became much more genuine as he lowered his hand to her navel. He drew a small heart-shaped pattern around it before trailing down to her sex.

His thumb began rubbing small circles on her clit as the rest of his fingers began tracing the space just above her opening.

Johnny shrugged his shirt off his shoulders as Cordelia made short work of the rest of his wardrobe. Despite being the ever impressive ever fantastic Human Torch, he couldn't help but feel a tinge of embarrassment from the exposure.

If he was being honest, Johnny felt a little intimidated... a little nervous. Courting and waiting wasn't his style. He had meant to break it off after the first date... then after the second... then after the third... then he eventually stopped pretending that he wasn't going to keep coming back. There was just something about her that... well drove him a little crazy. In a good way. But after all the build up and waiting, he couldn't help but worry he wouldn't live up to expectations.

Watching Cordelia stare up at him from the couch gave him the push he needed to stop thinking. All pretense of going slow lost, Johnny straddled her on the couch and began removing the lacy underthings one by one.

"That better be a promise." Johnny said huskily. He took his time unbuttoning his shirt, letting his eyes wander around her body. Never one to ignore a beautiful woman in lingerie.

However his appreciation could only last so long before his hands began roaming her exposed skin, like they hand minds of their own. One made it's way up to the back of her neck and pulled her into a kiss. His teeth nipped at her lower lip. His other hand groped her ass in a rough squeeze before pulling at the waistband of her panties.

He was half hard and heating up quickly, and made a mental note to start steering the two of them towards the couch in small steps. The bed could wait till morning.

She could have responded to all of that but she was too focused on the features of his face. Stupid things really, like how his eyelashes kissed the skin below his eyes when he blinked or how his smile was just showed enough teeth to make Cordelia imagine what they’d feel like against her skin.

They’d had a great time at dinner, terrifying the waiter with the oddest questions and ordering so many substitutions they were sure his mind would spin. In the end, it was still one of the best meals of her life. Not because they dressed up to go for burgers at Wendy’s, no, but because she was with Johnny who made everything — even getting extra ketchup — an adventure.

"Like that?" she was referring to his lips on her skin. Turning gently, she brushed her hair to the opposite side. "Can y’get the clasp on the back?"

"Mmhmm," he hummed against the skin of her neck. He pulled her body up against his to get better leverage on the clasp. Instead of using his hands, he nimbly used his mouth to unlatch the dress, making sure to let his teeth graze across the newly exposed skin. One of his favorite party tricks.

Their skin glowed softly in the low lamplight.

He took a step back to admire her figure as the unclasped part of the dress revealed her breasts. His hand reached out to trace a small white scar that started at her collar bone and ended in the space between them.

He had abandoned the suit jacket and tie long ago, leaving him in his white button up shirt and black slacks with equally black dress shoes. For once, he wasn't wearing his signature FF suit under his clothes. A wise choice in hindsight now that he was thinking about how quickly he could get undressed.

"I'm not all bad." His grin turned soft as he began planting kisses along Cordelia's neck. "I'm really good at somethings."
