A dead mouse in an electronics arrangement. Literally the origin story for the EDM artist known as Deadmau5.

He's called that in honor of a dead door mouse he found while cleaning out his DJ kit. The mouse got stuck in the wiring and may have died from electrocution.

I found this interesting if not funny.

Chile is voting to replace its constitution on Sunday (4 September 2022). Their current constitution is one of the most neoliberal in the world, and has its origins in the US-backed fascist dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet.

I'm looking through a translation of the new proposed constitution (read it here), and it appears to be one of the most progressive constitutions in the world. Strong recognition of indigenous and womens' rights, major environmental protections, rights to education and healthcare, protection of democracy and civil liberties, the right to unionize, progressive taxation, a ban on all forms of social discrimination, and more.

If you're in Chile, I highly recommend a "yes" vote on the new constitution
