If I ever vanish

If I ever vanish, don't look for me. I will be free inside cold embrace I'm longing for. I will be at peace in solitude.

If I ever vanish, don't cry for me. My soul will stay. Pieces of me will remain. In the wind, the earth, the silent whispers, the gentle birds songs, the peaceful dreams.

If I ever vanish, don't miss me. Some souls are not made for this place. Some people are born into the wrong world. Some people will never belong anywhere.

I am at peace with feeling wrong. I'm at peace with having nowhere I belong. My soul clawed my insides for years now, trying to get out like a hungry animal smelling food.

It wants to go back. It wants to belong. It wants to be whole again. So, If I ever vanish, just leave me be.

I won't make you a saint. Keep on living with your bloodied hands. I don't wish for your redemption, I wish for you to live long.

Why, you ask? Because there is no satisfaction in death. Go and live a long life. Outlive your loved ones. Suffer in silence. Alone.

Just like you wanted me to be alone. But I wasn't. The demons provided more comfort than you ever did.

There was a long pause filled with only the threating silence of their eyes hovering upon her. Stares she couldn't ignore and a silent demand to have their question answered. Almost as if she did something wrong. She swallowed.

"Are you really sure this isn't supposed to be here?"

Writer's Block

All the words are gone. There is nothing but a threatening abyss left inside my mind. My words are empty. I've wasted so many of them. Had I known I would have done better. I would have saved them. For Later. Later. A time that never came. My mind is empty. Just as blank as the paper I force my hand upon. Squeezing out the ink. Nothing. There was nothing left. I already bled out upon unworthy papers. Will that be enough? Will it finally end? What will become of what is left of me?

I am the wake between words at 3am.

I am dried tears on the kitchen counter at night.

I am the whisper in the wind you thought you misheard.

I am the half eaten food you chose to let go.

I am the words in the back of your throat that don't want to leave your tongue.

I am the music played too loud in the middle of the night.

I am the pain coursing through your veins.

The outburst of anger after being told to calm down.

Heaven & Hell

Heaven and Hell came to me in a dream, only that Heaven was dark and twisted while Hell introduced himself to me as a white robed gentleman. A warm smile on his ashen lips, a beautiful shine emitting from white hair. There was warmth in his dark eyes, and softness in his voice. Heaven in regard, didn't smile. His eyes lost, his smile dark and forced. What happened to him, I asked. And Heaven averted his eyes, in regret and in quiet suffering "The higher up you are, the greater you fall - and if you are me, even a stumble can break your bones. And in case of Hell, once you hit the bottom and there is no deeper fall only then you'll be able to rebuild."
