i think of all the people who forgot, Rook would be the first to start remembering due to his inquisitive and instinctive nature. and i think remembering the prefect, and then realizing he forgot them, might kind of break him a little
Agreed! Either him, Lilia, or (surprisingly) Leona.
Rook's is very instinctual. Of course it is, he's a hunter. He picks up on everyone's weird behavior pretty quickly. How he almost catches himself speaking about a person who doesn't exist, and more importantly, how Vil almost flinches whenever he does so. It doesn't take him long to sit his housewarden and Epel down and ask about it. Not that learning the truth makes him feel much better.
Lilia already knew something was wrong. But whatever it was seemed intent on making sure things stayed that way. So he goes to Malleus, and they start working on a solution to dissolve this memory fogging altogether. It takes...longer than it should. He's almost afraid, knowing that this force is almost stronger than both him and the young prince combined.
Leona almost doesn't care. Jack is out of it for some reason, sure. But it isn't really his problem. Except one day it hits him. He isn't quite sure what "it" is, but it's making a fool of him. Trying to get into his head and change things. And he isn't going to take that lying down.
Riddle: And you! You don't even have any magic! What kind of failures must your parents be?
MC: I can confidently say that if I came home with a failing grade, my mom would still love me. Can you?

i just finished rewatching maleficent and i’m really hoping for more hints of it in diasomnia’s story .. considering crowley’s design is based off of diaval + i’ve been thinking about how in the movie, maleficent tends to put aurora to sleep using her magic at random times?? HMM. anyway u know how it is i hope it releases soon
i wanna see vil with a partner that already has a following on the internet. not because they’re actually famous, but because they just post stupid shit and people find it funny. like imagine people going to vil’s magicam account and going, “ur partner’s talking about how much they wanna eat glass rn…” or them getting into shenanigans with the first years and the comments immediately become, “shshs no one tell vil.”
