So much discourse about the pending Thunder vs. Pacers NBA Finals matchup for the past few days. A bunch of mixed reactions.

You have one side who love the small market appeal and two teams playing an elite style of basketball on both ends of the floor. The league parity that everyone was crying for has finally trickled down to markets you didn't expect.

You have the other side that believe it's going to be a very boring matchup between two teams that are strongly disliked outside of their fanbases and won't grab the casual fan's attention. No entertaining storylines to sell you on or superstar that people want to crown as the next face of the league. And because of that, it might end up being one of, if not, the lowest rated NBA Finals series in history.

Either way, I ain't gonna watch the shit. Not because of the latter point, but because I will be a bitter Knicks fan that will never get over being so close to the finish line. And the Timberwolves/Anthony Edwards fans is feeling the same way.

It's going to be funny as hell in a few weeks when the NBA post the ratings and it ends up being one of the most watched NBA Finals in recent history. 😂

🤬🤬🤬🤬 You know something? Looking back at our schooling, there's a lot we were never taught. Whether by design or deliberate omission, we can safely say that across the entire board—from the Caribbean to the Americas—real history has been sanitised.

So the shortcomings, whitewashing, and omissions pointed out in the video regarding Gandi, Mother Teresa, Thomas Jefferson, Chris Columbus the terrorist, Walt Disney, and John F. Kennedy? Not surprising at all.

Sadly, this erasure is now policy in the Trump era. The last thing white America will ever do is accept its true history. They prefer amnesia. They selectively glorify what makes them comfortable while completely erasing the parts they don't want to remember or teach.

Take Thomas Jefferson—the author of the so-called grandest document of liberty and fraternity. He was as flawed as the document itself. Because despite writing those lofty words that "all men are created equal," what he didn't write in that document was who he considered to be men.

America will preach the glorious sermon of democracy and power to the people. What they won't tell you is that not all people are considered people.
