My aunt’s cat is very shy and hides when there are guests in her house. She semi-trusts my parents and will at least be in the same room as them. Tonight, my dad made some progress:

If anyone still follows my tumblr or is still seeing this post, you should know that my dad has befriended and tamed a feral cat that he’s been feeding for 5 years. She’s been spayed, gets both cat food and freshly cooked meat, has a heated water dish for winters, has a litter box in the garage, has a fort/bed in the garage, gets tick and flea repellent, and gets brushed.

#she treats my niece and nephew like kittens #she wants to come inside but gets nervous when the door shuts #my parents make sure she’s in the garage at night so she has a safe place to sleep
