Sacred Art by Raúl Berzosa

I find the paintings of Raúl Berzosa to be very inspiring.  I may not be able to afford such a high-quality art commission but just looking at all his work is enough for me.  His website has a lot of sacred art to feast your eyes on. 

Again, it is NOT easy to choose what image to post in my blog, but these 3 are particularly beautiful because these show the hidden years of Our Lord’s life – tucked away in the workshop of St. Joseph.

The Holy Family in the carpenter’s shop of St. Joseph in Nazareth.  What precious moments have happened here–we will only know in the next life.  Jesus did spend majority of his earthly life with Joseph and Mary.  If these moments were written in the book, this book would be considerably longer than the actual Gospels! 

The Holy Family (probably around the age of 12?) before or after he got lost in the temple.  :-)
