“I’ve got all the time in the world, Sans.” Frisk smiled in reassurance. “I’d… try to help but I’d probably be more in the way.” they added, quietly.
You can talk to gaster right? Maybe he could narrow down the search time?“ He suggested “point out which notes to search for.”
The ghost remained silent for a while before speaking. “I-I cant just…” They stuttered, trying to think of what to say. “I-it doesn’t really work like that, Sans…”
then how does it work?” he asked curiously looking to frisk for an answer.
They sighed. “I can’t just… make Gaster appear and talk to me. I’d have to wander through timelines and alternate universes and even then its only by chance that I’d find him.”
“welp it was worth a shot…” he sighed before looking to the ground. returning his gaze to the computer and searching through the files. finding the results of the other souls and their extraction before quickly moving to the next one. “oh boy… this might take a while.”
Frisk looked away, the shadows returning to full cover again. “You don’t have to do this, Sans. Maybe it’s better if I don’t know why I ended up as an anomaly; some things are left best unsaid, for the sake of everyone. Maybe this is one of those things.”
he looked to them and sighed. “look… kid… i never said that this was going to be the easiest thing… but it is far from impossible.” he sighed softly. “i’m going to get to the bottom of this.” he promised.
They began to object. “Y-you don’t have to do this for me, really. Even if you find a lead, it might end up a wild goose chase. I don’t want to make you feel pressured into doing this.”
He paused looking to frisk. “kid, you’re my friend.” He says looking to them. “no pressure here…” He insisted
“But I don’t want to be in the way of you spending time with everyone… I can’t even help you…” the ghost sighed and covered their face with their hand, as if trying to hide behind it. “Sans… don’t you have anything better to do?”
Nope…“ He sighed. “being a sentry is pretty boring anyway…” He shrugged. “besides, I missed all of this science stuff.”
“I-if you say so… then, okay.” Frisk thought a moment, then came up with an idea.
“Why don’t we ask each other questions about things to pass the time? I could ask you about what everyone’s been doing since I died, and you could ask me about the timelines I’ve seen. Or, anything about being a ghost, really.”
he looked thoughtful. “that actually sounds like it could help.” he muttered to himself before finding a chair and taking a seat. “alright… well i’ve left messages on your phone…” he started. “well, papyrus is in the royal guard, in fact, he’s Captain. undyne retired to help Alphys and i’m still freelancing with my jobs and making sure everything is alright i guess.” he shrugged.
Frisk listened to him speak, letting silence hang in the air for a moment. “What about Toriel?” they asked softly.
((reminder that i updated the about and rules!))
((i updated all of my pages!! please check them out, and goodnight!))

I want to RP with you but I have no idea how to do the thing.
I want to RP with you but I’m too shy.
I do RP with you and I love it!
I used to RP with you but then I got bored.
I like seeing you on my dash and admire from afar.
Who the fuck are you?
Delete your blog.

Please reblog if you ACTUALLY read people's about pages.
It has come to my attention that some individuals take absolutely no effort to read about a character first before accusing a player of being off canon.
Meanwhile the character is being played precisely as the character should be based on that character’s storyline in the about page.
Please reblog if you are not one of these people.
