Cool so people are saying that Ashton is leaving the band to pursue a solo career or something along the lines, which inciting panic within the younger fans who, expectantly haven’t dealt with something like this before.

If you were all paying attention, Ash has commented saying they pursue other creative outlets which helps them find their own identities outside of the band, to then bring what they have learned back to the band to give us the best of 5sos as a creative whole.

I’d also like to remind you, Ashton has previously worked with Andy Black on his album, and also Michael is a producer. They have their outlets, just like we do.

Other artists have done this to keep their creativity from overwhelming the music they create as a band, Alex Gaskarth and Mark Hoppus as an example with Simple Creatures. Whilst their own bands pursued a new sound, they returned to their roots. Mark and Travis also had +44 in previous years.

Don’t be an asshole by immediately taking the assumption that it means the band is over. It just upsets people who do use their music as positive outlet in what can be some seriously shit times and that’s not fair nor is it nice.
