Two new pilots: Yu-Mei Liu and Sheryl Lapointe!

Yu-Mei is the daughter of an extremely skilled and well known pilot, now retired. She wants to do her family name justice, so she’s always pushing herself to her very limits to overperform- which can sometimes take its toll on her physical and mental health. Although she had a mostly normal childhood and a good relationship with her parents, she’s terrified of the idea of failing them and getting punished for ruining the family’s name. She’s in the Elite category and is the pilot of MS Chinese Taishan.

Sheryl is the only child of the Lapointe family, daughter to two pilots. She graduated to be a standard pilot, but after losing both of her parents in the war, she decided to switch over to the medical category, as she wanted to try to save lives in order to keep other pilots from feeling the pain she felt from losing someone dear. She’s a trans female and pilots USS Hope, who she treats as the sister she never had. She was also assigned to be Kazuya’s main nurse after he was rescued, so the two managed to form a close friendship.
