jingle jingle everyone. officially rewriting this. it will be phighting based? in the sense that it is based off of the characters, but will be my own takes on ideas.

when this au began i barely had anything to work with, and now that phighting is getting more lore, i'm just splintering off. think like flipside smp, basically.

similar concepts, some same names, enough to keep it as a phighting based thing, but lets be real. these are ocs atp. and im going to have fun with ocs. lol

I need to rewrite this blog's intro we kinda lost the plot a bit of typical medkit

The footsteps of a certain inphernal (well, technically now deity) could be heard as Medkit stepped through the temple. "Excuse me, Illumina?" It called politely. The wings on its back were new, and looked... more preened then they had been when it visited another. It looked less stressed as well, in a taller, more regal posture. Its sword (which still resembled Ghostwalker's sword, naturally) was slung over its back, tucked in between its wings. It hesitated before it spoke. "I request that I may stay here for awhile. There is... nothing important to discuss." This was a far cry from the follower before, even though he still had his wrist chains. He let the scar from Subspace's attack show without issue.

By the swords this deity was dressed head to toe in flowers and white. His bow healed wing flourishing with different flowers and vines…

He smiled, and settled down nearby, but still giving distance. "You seem to be doing a bit better. Have you been alright?" He still seemed unsure how to exactly set his wings when he sat, but after a bit of fidgeting, he figured it out.

Medkit reached behind himself, and adjusted the sword so it wouldn't stab the ground. He'd rather not damage the sword, the ground, or both.

The deity got closer, the back of his robes dragging against the ground. He made sure not to get too close though, sensing the other wanted distance.

“How art thou?”

"..Better. I've adjusted to my role better, I.. had someone help me with my wings." He smiled slightly. "An.. an old friend was kind enough to help me in learning how to properly preen them it.. it was, and still is very appreciated." He hesitated. "..There has been troubles regarding an old.. coworker of mine, and his god." The pause between "old" and "coworker" carried a heavy, heavy weight. Even after Subspace had taken shelter in his home, he couldn't help his conflicting, messy wave of feelings about the whole situation.

It didn't continue, as the situation was heavy on its own shoulders, and it was used to how Darkheart behaved. With Illumina, he wasn't familiar with their oddities, how they bent mortal's minds out of pure accident far too easily.

He smiled, both his arms going behind his back. Seeing the conflictive nature of the other he wanted to offer rest, relaxation. Cause of course, his place was a refuge for the lost….

It nodded, settling down. "Thank you sir."

Curiously, it looked around the room. "Did you gain a new follower recently? Just curious." He had let himself slump more, half leaning, half sitting up, his arms supporting him.

“Aye i didst! i hath found that poor soul the woods i hath found Sword in! quite the coincidence don’t thee bethink?”

"Indeed. I'm glad you found them though, are they settling in well?" It knew from experience how odd it could be to adjust to the life of a follower.

A somewhat familiar face visits. His fur and hair are longer, more unkempt. His eye patch is long gone, and his wings look like they need preening. He looks far more tired, and his sword is loosely strapped behind his back.

Despite all of this, he carries himself with a regal energy.

"Is... Is Ghostwalker present? I need advice." His voice is heavier with responsibility, and yet it still wavers when saying the deity's name, a reminder of times long passed.

＊　he was met with an ... unpleasant presence , in the halls of the medical wing where ghostwalker usually resided. he wasnt in his temples at the heights as often as he would be , persay things were normal - but alas. he seemed happy enough here , or he made it seem that way.

darkheart was rummaging through drawers & cabinets , digging out snacks & various little nibbles of candies & foods & stuffing them into their pockets , carrying around a beaten up plastic water full of some thick , scarlet substance - that was definitely blood. what an introduction.

＊　they jerked up , twitchy & startled as they peered over , huffing a bit as they paused , promptly pointing him in the opposite (but right) direction. they didnt even look at him , atleast not in a way he could tell. they didnt want to look at him

" end of the hall or something .. we heard him down there earlier. "

It nodded, clearly uncomfortable with looking at them. He shuddered, holding back nausea at the sight of the bottle of blood. He muttered something that sounded grateful, and headed down the hall.

As it walked, the image of the Darkheart it knew popped up in its mind, and it had to pause to take a few deep breaths, its empty socket pulsating.

Once it settled, Medkit continued down the wall, keeping its wings pulled up so they didn't drag on the floor. It would have to ask for help later to preen them, but it didn't even know who to ask these days..

＊　it was quiet , dim overhead lighting illuminating the hallways. it was kinda creepy , just decor & the occasional waiting benches , maybe some potted plants. nothing that special but also something kinda eerie.

chatter could be heard at the end of the hall , a cracked open door with the name 'doctor ghostwalker sword' hung up on the door - you could see & hear him talking on the phone with someone. not in any mortal tongue , so not like it was a conversation you could eavesdrop in on - but a conversation nonetheless.

＊　he looked different. he had wings - two huge pairs that seemed to almost swallow his figure with their size , gently folded on his back as he sat at his desk , doing paperwork of some sort. he looked ... more alive ? peculiar , why did he suddenly have wings & actual facial features ? also missing the stitches ...

he took note of the visitor , whispering something into his end of the phone as he watched it creep into his doorway , before promptly hanging up & waving at it , a soft smile as some sort of welcoming.

It smiled hesitantly at him. ...It would ignore the features, if he would ignore how it had changed, and how its sword had changed.

"I'm so sorry to bother, but I need advice regarding... something odd." It fidgeted. It has grown so anxious recently, as opposed to the old short temperedness. Now that it stood still, its wings were really bothering it.

With an uncomfortable huff, it stretched them out and flapped them lightly, as if to shake off the discomfort of unpreened wings.

＊　you could see his eyes watch its wings but choose not to say anything in the moment. it did ... bother him. its discomfort bothered him - unpreened wings were never fun , he would know.

he sat upright , pushing aside the folders he had out & was working on - shifting his attention to what it had to show & ask of him.

" advice on what exactly ? "

＊　he didnt mean to be rude , just curious. his canines poked out as he spoke , as he actually had a mouth now. it was a bit unnerving - ghostwalker looking normal ? hell.

Medkit politely avoided looking at his face.

"The situation is... strange, but.." He took a deep breath, and began.

"My... My Darkheart. The one that resides within my world. They.. they did something to Subspace and now he's.. he's wrong." It shuddered as it tried to properly explain what it meant. "He's... more unstable, I.. I think he grew wings at some point? He's been.. able to wield their Sword." It looked disturbed as it continued.

"He's been doing awful things to the other inphernals, and I don't understand how this could even happen, aren't mortals.. not supposed to be able to... do any of this?"

The poor deity looked stressed, his fur and feathers all puffed up out of anxiety.

"Do you know why? I haven't the faintest idea why, and I don't want to approach anyone else, I.. I don't know how they'd react."

It sounded horribly stressed, almost like it was about to cry as it wrung its hands reflexively, the handcuffs's chipped chains jingling.

＊　his eyes widened a bit as he listened to him go on. this was surely , definitely not normal of any sort. a mortal wielding a sword's gear was also something that should not be possible.

he paused for a moment - his gaze locked onto their disheveled form as he furrowed his brows , glancing away for a moment as he opened his mouth to speak , letting it hang open for a moment.

" he can ... wield their sword ? hm. i - i ... dont know what else to believe then that they may have - "

＊　he paused , the thoughts & words rattling around in his head but getting stuck in his throat - he stopped to try & think of how he should word this. appropriately.

" this information you've given me has led me to believe your darkheart may have - passed their duties & abilities down to him. intentional or not - that would explain everything you have told me right now. can i ask when these behaviors & such began ? "

Medkit froze, staring at the doctor with absolute terror. Eventually, the question processed, and it spoke. "...About a week ago, I knew he was a follower, but they're still alive and well, I just don't understand why they'd do that.."

It trailed off, thinking about something odd it had heard them say.

"They mentioned once that... that what happened to me wasn't supposed to happen. I wasn't supposed to die." It looked Ghostwalker in the eye. "The Medkit of your world, did... did he die out in the snow, as I did?"

＊　he furrowed his brows a bit , white , x shaped pupils focused on him , before shaking his head no - wings stretching out a bit.

" no. i believe hes still alive & well ... i dont know him personally , not very well at all but - he still participates in phights. very different from your circumstances. "

＊　he glanced down for a moment , before looking behind him & around the room as he continued to speak. was he always this bad at eye contact ?? well , not like you could really tell before - he didnt have eyes.

he tried to gather more of his thoughts - trying not to ramble on about anything on that topic - he didnt have the heart to tell it that he ... didnt like the medkit of his world. like at all. he really didnt want to explain that - it felt so rude & unnecessary.

" but ..., anyways , my hypothesis for such a thing happening could be it either happened by accident - or theres some ulterior motives. i dont know them personally , either of them , so i cannot determine exactly ... i just hope it doesnt escalate anymore. "

It went quiet, wringing its hands still. "They said something, uhm... awhile back. About how my death wasn't supposed to happen."

It didn't say anything, instead staring at the floor, both to think, and because it noticed he seemed uncomfortable with the eye contact.

After a long while of being silent, he spoke.

"Is it okay if I stay here for... awhile? I just want normal company for once." He was aware that Ghostwalker wasn't "normal company", but with everything going on, he didn't care. He just needed somewhere quiet where he could relax for once.

＊　his gaze averted back to it as it spoke & then sat in silence. he would normally say something , or try to say something - but at the moment he was a bit stumped. but , then again , silence was better sometimes. maybe silence was better now.

＊　he sat there with it until it spoke once again , perking up a bit. he was 'normal' company ? how amusing & interesting - he smiled for a moment , nodding a bit.

" sure. do i need to do anything for you ? " ＊　he would normally let the offer hang for a bit , but his gaze averted back to its wings - & he couldnt keep himself quiet about them for the life of him. or , death of him , you know.

" your wings ... do look a bit disheveled. i could help you with that , if you want me to. "

＊　he cringed a bit inside - was that too rude ? too blunt ? stars ... he probably shouldnt have said anything.

Medkit looked relieved at the offer. "Please, I haven't been able to ask anyone to help me, with everything going on." He relaxed visibly, and, because he was unsure, he moved closer to Ghostwalker.

The wing care would be nice.

＊　he nodded , scooting his office chair closer to it as he inspected its wings - they looked almost matted. so uncomfortable ... he could only imagine.

he looked up at him with that certain look in his eyes , asking for permission to touch its wings without asking - he didnt want to just touch without consent. that would be uncalled for ...

"It's alright. You can touch." It seemed thankful that he asked, and it let itself relax. It was safe, and in good hands, allowing its wings to expand slightly from their resting position for ease of access.

＊　he nodded , humming softly as he ran his gloved fingers through some of its feathers - trying to de-mat some of them. they looked rough , a bit dirty - something he could never imagine himself letting happen to him.

he leaned over a bit as he fixated on preening & cleaning up some of the mess that was its wings , happily getting to work at that as it relaxed.

Medkit was content to let him work, his eye closing as he sighed softly. The silence was nice.

＊　soon enough he was done with the one wing , gently releasing it before getting to work on the next one , moving his gloved hands through his wings gently.

did he know how to preen himself ? maybe he would have to assist him with that a bit more ... preening his wings this once was good , yes , but he was worried about them getting this bad again. or worse.

Medkit shifted, turning his head to look back at him the best he could. He seemed curious, but he didn't say anything yet. Just observed.

＊　he was so precise & so careful - separating each other from the others & letting them lay themselves out in their natural patterns , like he was demonstrating it for some sort of class , some kid of hands-on instruction or something.

he wanted to say something because he had several different thoughts rattling in his head - but he couldnt get himself to speak. alas , silence it was.

Medkit seemed fascinated by how careful how he was being, tilting his head slightly as he studied the movements. Eventually, it spoke. "You are very precise." It was meant to be kind, even if it came out a bit dry tone wise.

＊　he didnt seem to pick up on it very well - or he didnt consider its tone , either way he seemed to take it as so - continuing to gently preen its feathers.

" i have to be. my work is tedious - & i cant wear my gloves all the time , so i especially have to be careful then. its out of habit at this point. "

＊　he doesnt elaborate on the gloves bit , hes under the impression that thats common knowledge for mortals - why he has to wear gloves. or , maybe he just assumes it already knows. it was working with a version of himself , yes ? surely ...

He blinked. "Why?" He hadn't gotten the chance to know about the death.

He stretched his free wing out, letting the muscles stretch.

" my touch kills. i dont want to have everything i touch wither & decay - so ive trained myself to be especially careful. not to mention my claws ... "

＊　he cringed a bit , still working at it's wings. he didnt feel like he needed to say much else about that matter.

Medkit nodded, falling silent. He hummed softly, wringing his hands again. As it wrung its hands, it thought back to Darkheart.

"Is... Darkheart alright these days? They were drinking blood earlier." He shuddered at the mental image, his feathers shifting and puffing up slightly.

＊　he paused for a moment. they hadnt been alright or good in awhile , & he was thoroughly frustrated with them these days.

" no. they havent been well or in their right mind , for awhile. but thats just a part of their - interesting diet. believe me , ive tried to coax them out of their cannibalistic tendencies. "

＊　he let out an exasperated sigh , getting back to work on preening his wings as he went on about the matter , ranting a bit.

" i honestly dont know what more it'll take for them to realize how much theyre letting themselves go. theyre aggressive & skittish - practically feral sometimes. i know they say they mean well , & at times they do but - stars. they're so stubborn & measly it pains me to be around them - but they arent doing anything to better themselves. i can only do so much. "

Medkit nodded, murmuring, "You can only help someone who can't or.. won't change so much. I understand that." It reminded it of Subspace, and how he'd always been so stubborn, even before everything that happened. "Subspace was like that, even before I died. Not cannibalistic, I mean, but... just very stubborn. Very hard to get him to change course when he decided he was going to do something."

＊　he nodded , glancing away as he listened , continuing to gently preen & de-mat feathers , responding quietly in that thick accent of his.

" theyve always been stubborn. even before everything - they were always stubborn & a bit short tempered ... i couldnt blame them at the time because i was a bit aswell - ive been getting better now , though. "

" its just frustrating , especially with everything thats been stirred up now. im growing tired of it. "

It nodded. "That's understandable, a lot has been happening for both of us." Medkit took out its sword, and started to trace the handle, claws dragging over the crystal.

＊　he exhales , falling silent for a moment once more before his eyes trail to its sword - wearing it wield it & trace its claws over the gem embedded in its handle. he was still so intrigued by the fact the blade wasnt broken - then again , the ghostwalker it knew was very different from himself.

yet , despite the fact he was very much aware of how different their circumstances were - he couldnt keep himself from asking questions. just a bit - even if they were rhetorical.

" its not broken ?"

＊　his eyes were fixated on it , cross shaped pupils a bit smaller - making him look more like a bird of prey then the scavenger he was , a vulture - how fitting , his eyes were staring down at the gleaming blade with awe & a bit of longingness ? peculiar , but understanding from him.

"It is not."

It replied quietly.

"Different circumstances and a different sword." Medkit held it up to the light, watching the light reflect off the sword.

"It... is a lovely sword though." His claw scraped over the blade, and he winced at the sound, murmuring an apology.

"Do you feel drawn to it?" He blinked, looking up in his... general direction. Hard to tell without a pupil.

darkheart was rummaging through drawers & cabinets , digging out snacks & various little nibbles of candies & foods & stuffing them into their pockets , carrying around a beaten up plastic water full of some thick , scarlet substance - that was definitely blood. what an introduction.

＊　they jerked up , twitchy & startled as they peered over , huffing a bit as they paused , promptly pointing him in the opposite (but right) direction. they didnt even look at him , atleast not in a way he could tell. they didnt want to look at him

" end of the hall or something .. we heard him down there earlier. "

It nodded, clearly uncomfortable with looking at them. He shuddered, holding back nausea at the sight of the bottle of blood. He muttered something that sounded grateful, and headed down the hall.

As it walked, the image of the Darkheart it knew popped up in its mind, and it had to pause to take a few deep breaths, its empty socket pulsating.

Once it settled, Medkit continued down the wall, keeping its wings pulled up so they didn't drag on the floor. It would have to ask for help later to preen them, but it didn't even know who to ask these days..

chatter could be heard at the end of the hall , a cracked open door with the name 'doctor ghostwalker sword' hung up on the door - you could see & hear him talking on the phone with someone. not in any mortal tongue , so not like it was a conversation you could eavesdrop in on - but a conversation nonetheless.

＊　he looked different. he had wings - two huge pairs that seemed to almost swallow his figure with their size , gently folded on his back as he sat at his desk , doing paperwork of some sort. he looked ... more alive ? peculiar , why did he suddenly have wings & actual facial features ? also missing the stitches ...

he took note of the visitor , whispering something into his end of the phone as he watched it creep into his doorway , before promptly hanging up & waving at it , a soft smile as some sort of welcoming.

It smiled hesitantly at him. ...It would ignore the features, if he would ignore how it had changed, and how its sword had changed.

"I'm so sorry to bother, but I need advice regarding... something odd." It fidgeted. It has grown so anxious recently, as opposed to the old short temperedness. Now that it stood still, its wings were really bothering it.

With an uncomfortable huff, it stretched them out and flapped them lightly, as if to shake off the discomfort of unpreened wings.

"He's been doing awful things to the other inphernals, and I don't understand how this could even happen, aren't mortals.. not supposed to be able to... do any of this?"

"Do you know why? I haven't the faintest idea why, and I don't want to approach anyone else, I.. I don't know how they'd react."

As it walked, the image of the Darkheart it knew popped up in its mind, and it had to pause to take a few deep breaths, its empty socket pulsating.

Once it settled, Medkit continued down the wall, keeping its wings pulled up so they didn't drag on the floor. It would have to ask for help later to preen them, but it didn't even know who to ask these days..

chatter could be heard at the end of the hall , a cracked open door with the name 'doctor ghostwalker sword' hung up on the door - you could see & hear him talking on the phone with someone. not in any mortal tongue , so not like it was a conversation you could eavesdrop in on - but a conversation nonetheless.

＊　he looked different. he had wings - two huge pairs that seemed to almost swallow his figure with their size , gently folded on his back as he sat at his desk , doing paperwork of some sort. he looked ... more alive ? peculiar , why did he suddenly have wings & actual facial features ? also missing the stitches ...

he took note of the visitor , whispering something into his end of the phone as he watched it creep into his doorway , before promptly hanging up & waving at it , a soft smile as some sort of welcoming.

"I'm so sorry to bother, but I need advice regarding... something odd." It fidgeted. It has grown so anxious recently, as opposed to the old short temperedness. Now that it stood still, its wings were really bothering it.

With an uncomfortable huff, it stretched them out and flapped them lightly, as if to shake off the discomfort of unpreened wings.

"He's... more unstable, I.. I think he grew wings at some point? He's been.. able to wield their Sword." It looked disturbed as it continued.

"He's been doing awful things to the other inphernals, and I don't understand how this could even happen, aren't mortals.. not supposed to be able to... do any of this?"

The poor deity looked stressed, his fur and feathers all puffed up out of anxiety.

"Do you know why? I haven't the faintest idea why, and I don't want to approach anyone else, I.. I don't know how they'd react."

Medkit froze, staring at the doctor with absolute terror. Eventually, the question processed, and it spoke. "...About a week ago, I knew he was a follower, but they're still alive and well, I just don't understand why they'd do that.."

It trailed off, thinking about something odd it had heard them say.

"They mentioned once that... that what happened to me wasn't supposed to happen. I wasn't supposed to die." It looked Ghostwalker in the eye. "The Medkit of your world, did... did he die out in the snow, as I did?"

＊　he furrowed his brows a bit , white , x shaped pupils focused on him , before shaking his head no - wings stretching out a bit.

" no. i believe hes still alive & well ... i dont know him personally , not very well at all but - he still participates in phights. very different from your circumstances. "

＊　he glanced down for a moment , before looking behind him & around the room as he continued to speak. was he always this bad at eye contact ?? well , not like you could really tell before - he didnt have eyes.

he tried to gather more of his thoughts - trying not to ramble on about anything on that topic - he didnt have the heart to tell it that he ... didnt like the medkit of his world. like at all. he really didnt want to explain that - it felt so rude & unnecessary.

" but ..., anyways , my hypothesis for such a thing happening could be it either happened by accident - or theres some ulterior motives. i dont know them personally , either of them , so i cannot determine exactly ... i just hope it doesnt escalate anymore. "

It went quiet, wringing its hands still. "They said something, uhm... awhile back. About how my death wasn't supposed to happen."

It didn't say anything, instead staring at the floor, both to think, and because it noticed he seemed uncomfortable with the eye contact.

After a long while of being silent, he spoke.

"Is it okay if I stay here for... awhile? I just want normal company for once." He was aware that Ghostwalker wasn't "normal company", but with everything going on, he didn't care. He just needed somewhere quiet where he could relax for once.

＊　his gaze averted back to it as it spoke & then sat in silence. he would normally say something , or try to say something - but at the moment he was a bit stumped. but , then again , silence was better sometimes. maybe silence was better now.

＊　he sat there with it until it spoke once again , perking up a bit. he was 'normal' company ? how amusing & interesting - he smiled for a moment , nodding a bit.

" sure. do i need to do anything for you ? " ＊　he would normally let the offer hang for a bit , but his gaze averted back to its wings - & he couldnt keep himself quiet about them for the life of him. or , death of him , you know.

" your wings ... do look a bit disheveled. i could help you with that , if you want me to. "

＊　he cringed a bit inside - was that too rude ? too blunt ? stars ... he probably shouldnt have said anything.

Medkit looked relieved at the offer. "Please, I haven't been able to ask anyone to help me, with everything going on." He relaxed visibly, and, because he was unsure, he moved closer to Ghostwalker.

The wing care would be nice.

＊　he nodded , scooting his office chair closer to it as he inspected its wings - they looked almost matted. so uncomfortable ... he could only imagine.

he looked up at him with that certain look in his eyes , asking for permission to touch its wings without asking - he didnt want to just touch without consent. that would be uncalled for ...

"It's alright. You can touch." It seemed thankful that he asked, and it let itself relax. It was safe, and in good hands, allowing its wings to expand slightly from their resting position for ease of access.

＊　he nodded , humming softly as he ran his gloved fingers through some of its feathers - trying to de-mat some of them. they looked rough , a bit dirty - something he could never imagine himself letting happen to him.

he leaned over a bit as he fixated on preening & cleaning up some of the mess that was its wings , happily getting to work at that as it relaxed.

Medkit was content to let him work, his eye closing as he sighed softly. The silence was nice.

＊　soon enough he was done with the one wing , gently releasing it before getting to work on the next one , moving his gloved hands through his wings gently.

did he know how to preen himself ? maybe he would have to assist him with that a bit more ... preening his wings this once was good , yes , but he was worried about them getting this bad again. or worse.

Medkit shifted, turning his head to look back at him the best he could. He seemed curious, but he didn't say anything yet. Just observed.

＊　he was so precise & so careful - separating each other from the others & letting them lay themselves out in their natural patterns , like he was demonstrating it for some sort of class , some kid of hands-on instruction or something.

he wanted to say something because he had several different thoughts rattling in his head - but he couldnt get himself to speak. alas , silence it was.

Medkit seemed fascinated by how careful how he was being, tilting his head slightly as he studied the movements. Eventually, it spoke. "You are very precise." It was meant to be kind, even if it came out a bit dry tone wise.
