You guys all remember the mishandling of the current Ahmaud Arbery Case, yeah? Well, Voters in Brunswick, Georgia just voted corrupt incumbent Judicial Attorney, Jackie Johnson, out of office.

There’s been A LOT happening this past year and it seems hard to keep up. But just to jog your memories, Incumbent Jackie Johnson was the DA who was given charge of the Ahmaud Arbery Murder Case. Ahmaud Arbery was the young Black Man who was racially profiled, chased down, filmed, and murdered in February 2020. He was murdered by Gregory McMichael and his son Travis McMichael.
As Ahmaud’s case continues as Jackie Johnson and her office are currently being investigated for their mishandling of the murder. It also should be known that Jackie Johnson purposely protected Ahmaud’s murderers and skewed the outcome.
Unfortunately, this is the first of many deliberate mishandlings DA Johnson orchestrated. Her reach stretched far as she kept an innocent man imprisoned even after the actual murderer (who was a white supremacist) confessed. She then tried to block him from re-entering the county in which he was raised and had family. Jackie Johnson is an abhorrent wretch of a human being, a White Supremacist, and deserves to be indicted for her crimes committed while in office. The man who unseated her, Keith Higgins, is part of the Independent Party and we have yet to see how he acts in office, but one thing is for sure: The people of Brunswick, Georgia have spoken.
VOTING DOES MATTER. ESPECIALLY IN STATE/LOCAL ELECTIONS. I mean, If we’re being honest, Voting for your Local and State government Official is arguably just as important as the presidential elections and it effects communities DIRECTLY/IMMEDIATELY. You want instant change in your city or state? You don’t go to the federal government you go to your local government.
