Hi! I'm Tessa, and I have been here way too long. I'm an adult who occasionally posts NSFW, so minors do not interact please.

I accidentally nuked my original blog that I'd had since 2010 back in 2018, so here we are now. Thought I should set about making a proper pinned post.

I do my best to utilize the tagging feature, and don't mind adding to the roster if there is something you'd rather not see. I use this blog primarily for fandoms I enjoy, but I will occasionally post about me and my life under the tag 'gabbing ghoul'. If you don't want to see that, feel free to block that tag.

Any art I like goes under the 'art tag' whereas music I like goes under 'tunes tag'. I do occasionally post playlists I've made under the tunes tag, but I also attach a spotify tag to it. If you'd rather not see those, then block the spotify tag.

Lastly, I've started using 'ghoul games' for when I'm posting about whatever game I'm playing. I'm a new bunny mom so posts about my son go under 'teddy tag'.

Some tidbits about me: I'm an avid reader, writer, and gamer. I am working on a lesbian siren novel but it's slow going. When I'm not doing that, I write fanfiction! My main fandoms I write for are Red Dead Redemption 2, Dragon Age, and Twilight. Those are not my only interests, just the ones I'm currently writing for. Expect that list to change as time goes on!

I think people online treat driving too casually tbh, like there was a poll about people's bad habits while driving and they weren't bad habits or problematic or whatever, they were all things that literally kill people every single day. You are driving a massive vehicle that can very easily turn into a murder weapon with your carelessness, take this shit seriously.

had a friend tell me today they can't write without AI anymore. that their creative muscle just completely atrophied and they don't know how to get it back.

and i'm just... horrified. i didn't even know what to tell her because she knows my stance on generative AI. i'm not shy about it. and i guess she finally realized she'd been outsourcing her creativity too much and when she went to take that back, she found the muscle shriveled.

on one hand, i'm proud of the self awareness. on the other, i am massively disappointed.
