24 February 2026. I did something bad. I lied I was getting a drug test today for a job I didn't want. I'm still sober today but my God did lying feel GOOD. Like I can finally breathe for the first time in YEARS. Like I don't have to pretend I care about these these men and their RULES. And I'm still sober. And FREE. I am literally sobbing because I am finally FREE.

"Driven to suicide" is a completely normal thing to discuss when it's anyone else. Extreme hardship, social isolation and bullying can lead people, especially young people, to suicide. 1st September, 2025. Well it has been a while since I posted hasn't it.

One of the kids I work for had to be taken off his ventilator; he got COVID and it killed him. Someone who refused to mask killed a child, a child I was helping to stay alive, who should not have died.

How many more I wonder. How many more before you people wake the fuck up. How many more dead children will it take for you to feel "back to normal"?

2023. The Quicksilver era. The job that gave me financial independance & started my career as a medical delivery person. Long hours on the road, running in and out of hospitals. I miss it, but I do not miss all the maintenance on my own car!

Of course I was almost always the only one masking. In hospitals. In cancer treatment centers. At the blood bank. Everyone treats maskers like we are crazy, but what's crazy is knowingly spreading a dangerous virus that causes permenant damage to almost every organ in the body.

So we're even, world. We're even.

The family dog had to be put to sleep, after twelve years, on 7 July 2025. He had cancer and fluid in his lungs. It came on very quickly; there was nothing to be done.

Tug, you were my only friend in that household for the last decade +. And to be honest I envy you, just a little. I envy all the dead, for they don't have to see all the pain and suffering any more.

Still. Now you get to rest, and play forever, wherever you are. I hope it's good. I'll miss you baby boy!!

I am replacing our old somewhat washed out scan with a better new one, the dark paintings look different everywhere, even different from tumblr to somewhere else on the web. I have noticed over the last few years one of the big issues is the amount of brown/plum tint harnessing the black as well as how much direct light (warm or cool) is on the picture. 

I have seen this person and under those conditions, I saw very little border but more of a very dark painting with warm highlights in the middle. It just depends on the room and the camera.

All that aside, our old scan was very old and this is far superior. Appropriate for our dark days.
