When Mobius wakes up in the void his first thought goes back to Loki. He's not sure if Loki's got pruned as well but he doesn't want to take any chances. When he meets Sylvie there he knows for sure that his Loki is somewhere around. He never lets any negative thoughts about Loki's well-being settle inside his head. Even when Sylvie expresses her doubts, Mobius looks as determined as ever.
When Mobius sits down with the other Lokis and chats about various things he realises that he knows about a Loki more than he even thinks he does. His love for his Loki shows.
Parallel to that, Sylvie and Loki have a heart to heart about their familial bond and Mobius. Loki just smiles fondly when he thinks of Mobius. "He cares about you," Sylvie points out. And Loki, poor innocent Loki, who probably didn't dare to get his hopes up before to avoid heartbreak, remains silent. But his expressions and the way Sylvie smiles knowingly confess everything. He's in love with Mobius and Sylvie knows it too. Mobius is Loki's glorious purpose.
Loki gives Mobius the TemPad to ascertain his safety. He stays and is ready to do everything in his power to make sure that their plan works.
In a place full of pruned Lokis there's just one Mobius. They're meant to gravitate towards each other. They are and will always be each other's favourites.
The presence of the dagger, while they're hugging, is not a coincidence.
