C Boutique Hotel - A nice place to stay when in Baguio. The area where the hotel is located is perfectly quiet. Bedrooms are cozy enough. We got a loft type room that can accommodate up to 5 pax. Bathroom is clean. My only rant is that it's hard to figure out how to get the right temperature with their hot/cold shower (Maybe just in our room). I rate it 7.5. (at Baguio City)

Camiña Balay nga Bato - If you want to experience an authentic Tsokolate de batidor, then go here when in Iloilo. It really is different compared to those cafés or restaurants serving hot chocolate drink made from tablea. Anyway, I would love to go all around PH to see more old houses like this. They tell a lot of stories about PH history and they will really take you back to the past.

Good morning Iloilo! Grand Xing Imperial Hotel - Iloilo. For only 3,500++ a night, you already have a suite with buffet breakfast. Big screen TVs, one in the receiving area and one in the bedroom. Bathroom is clean with a nice bathtub ❤ The wifi in my room is intermittent, though. And mobile data coverage is low for Globe. But I think it's only due to my room's location. When in the lobby and pool area, signal and wifi is good. Food is okay. Customer service is excellent. Andana Resort - Guimaras. White and Blue. Simple but classy. Comfy rooms and Clean bathroom. Their Kare-kare is the best. I rate this resort 8/10. The only rant I have is that going to Danilo's where they serve breakfast will take 3 stairs down, and to the beach, 4 or 5 stairs down, for those who are not physically fit like me, it will be challenging 😛 Good thing they have another restaurant located in one of their main buildings, in front of the pool, and very near the rooms. #WhenInGuimaras #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines #ILovePH #Pinoy

Welcome Home to Anya

I kind of got tired of doing staycations in Manila and I wanted to go a bit farther. Either go north or south. When I think south, the first thing comes to mind is Tagaytay. It is my place for a quick escape from Hustle and Bustle from the Metro.

So I did search online for the current best places in Tagaytay (Actually we just went to Tagaytay early this year and went to Escala Tagaytay - Will post about it soon), and even though Escala is a nice place, I wanted to try a different hotel/resort and I saw some ads about Anya. I remembered I have read about it before that it’s one of the anticipated places in Tagaytay and I felt ecstatic to know it’s already open! 😃

So I went to their website http://anyaresorts.com/

They have an introductory rate of for as low as Php 5,200/night per room and it’s a very good deal considering the photos about the resort that I have been seeing online, with very luxurious rooms and nice overall ambiance. But then we needed to book for a weekend due to some transportation issues so the lowest rate for a Saturday is Php 7,020/night per room, but still, not bad, compared to luxury hotels in Manila that cost for as low as 9,000+/night per room.

So I booked 2 Junior Twin Suite rooms for 1 night as we were 7 pax. Php 7,020 per room is good for 2 pax, and additional pax is Php 1,600 per person with continental breakfast.

Very Comfy beds with veranda. And a big WOW bathroom. They call their bathrooms “Wow Bathrooms” because you will definitely say WOW when you enter them.

Just with the looks of the bed, you will definitely get a good night sleep like I did.

The tub is inviting and I made sure to take a dip. And by the way, I must say that their body wash and lotion are great! Minty scent and sensation and I loved them. Although the photo does not give justice to how the bathroom really looks like. I swear you won’t get disappointed. Plus it’s very clean and organized 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
