You are right, my interests have shifted...to cyclocross racing! I am not racing road bikes this year - just going to have fun and try my best to rip it up this fall. I have always had other interests, and not preparing for road season has allowed me to do more of those things (such as mushroom hunting or mountain biking) before cyclocross training begins in earnest.

Those dirt roads were scattered around green spaces in the city, but you should go bug the guys in Golden Saddle Cyclery for more details.
