I did some Gameoverse fan art, I quite like this show and I can't wait for more.
Reminder, if you ever pay someone for a commission on Paypal (NSFW OR NOT) you SHUT THE FUCK UP in any text box it gives you.
(No this does not mean try to be a snarky comedian and say it was "bomb materials" or "fuck u" or whatever. Don't play with people's livelihoods, just shut the fuck up and don't type anything at all, it's not that hard.)

Happy Birthday, Amanda! 🎉
My friends and I came together to celebrate someone who means a lot to us. I asked everyone to draw their favorite characters from your many roles and Ragatha, being the biggest Star amongst them all, was of course their favorite!
For my piece, I too chose Ragatha, Rebel from Date Everything, and Hannah from Hannapocalypse.
These characters mean a lot to me, and they’re just a small glimpse of the creativity and heart you put into your Characters~
@justtheclippy , I’m incredibly grateful to call you my friend. Thank you for all the love, encouragement, and support you’ve given me over the years—it’s meant more than I can say.
Here’s to celebrating you and all the joy you bring to so many people. Happy Birthday! 💛🎂

i have so much to say about this
first of all: tadc coming to theaters is a massive win for the indie animation community. the fact that a show made by an indie company and written by a single person grew to become one of the most popular pieces of media in current years and become so popular that it's coming to theaters is amazing. i don't think putting it in theaters is a bad idea and i think it's very special.
HOWEVER: putting it in theaters in a limited amount of locations 2 entire weeks before the public release of episode 9 is incredibly stupid and very disappointing on glitch's part. they know their community, things are going to be leaked and things are going to get spoiled and by the time ep9 releases publicly most of the excitement around it will be gone because most people have already seen it, whether in theaters or through leaks.
i don't want it to just be taken out of theaters because, again, i think this is a very special thing. though i don't understand why they couldn't have the release date for theaters be closer to the YouTube release date. a lot of people claim "if it was closer to the youtube release nobody would go see it" but i think that's completely untrue. seeing something like this in theaters isn't just about seeing it early, it's about the experience of seeing something WITH OTHER PEOPLE. i went to see iron lung in theaters because i wanted to experience it with other people around me who was as interested as i am. if tadc was showing the last act in my local theater closer to the release date i would absolutely go see it.
a lot of people also claim that a lot of us are jealous or that we should just "scroll from spoilers", i don't think you understand how hard that is. most people do not put any spoiler warning on their content and having to avoid a piece of media that you love so much for an entire 2 weeks is incredibly difficult. those 2 weeks are also going to be the 2 weeks social media and the fandom is the most active because it's literally 2 weeks before the final episode. to me it's not about us being jealous, it's about the fact that the excitement and anticipation will be ruined as i wouldn't be surprised that after a few days of the first theatre release somebody will have the entire movie recorded and will be spreading it around the community.
this is the finale of this show, it should be special and anticipated and exciting. locking early access to the finale behind a paywall and to a limited amount of locations will ruin that because this fandom cannot preface spoilers in the content they post. the youtube release will simply lose some of the excitement and that's kind of what you want most for your finale

It looks like they’re dropping a teaser trailer for the new Harry Potter reboot tomorrow
Just a few important and gentle reminders:
🫶🏻 DO NOT WATCH THIS FUCKING SHOW 🫶🏻
If you claim you support human rights - not just trans rights but human rights in general - yet still plan to watch this show, unfollow me. You’re a fucking hypocrite and I don’t want you following me.
Do not watch it even if you’re hate watching it, it still contributes to streaming revenue and views!
The adults in this reboot of the franchise are FULLY accountable for choosing to do this show and accepting a pay cheque over supporting a minority group. Even if they claim they support trans rights, they’re cowards and don’t actually support them at all.
The kids do NOT deserve abuse or hate, whether it’s because you’re comparing them to Dan/Rupert/Emma or because you’re boycotting due to the author’s views. They are literal CHILDREN.
Your nostalgia over a children’s series about kids going to school is NOT more important than trans people being respected and having rights. As long as JKR is still alive, she profits off of this.
And, just so you know, JKR profiting off of HP has DIRECTLY led to the disintegration of trans rights in the UK.
For example...
It follows an announcement in December that transgender members would be banned from joining.
From yestersday. This follows on from the UK supreme court ruling last year that equalities laws would be based on 'biological sex only.'
That supreme court ruling got through, not because 'everyone believes in it.' But because JKR directly payed MASSIVE amounts of money into right wing thinktanks, politicians, and TERF influencers.
Harry Potter directly funds transphobia and anti-trans laws in the UK.
She pours her money into the J.K Rowling women's fund. Meaning Harry Potter revenue directly pays for right wing transphobic pearl clutchers to take trans people to court and to stamp out the rights of trans people in the UK.
It is also hurting cis women in the UK because now we're all fucking paranoid about being 'transvestigated,' being abused in public (for 'not looking cis enough') or being denied services because some snotty billionaire decided she gets to decide who is or is not a 'woman' (based entirely on her weirdo, white, billionaire-class definition of the word.)
I know some artists are uncomfortable making fanart from fics if they haven't asked first, so I'm just gonna throw it out as a reminder that if you feel inspired to draw anything from any of my writing--that's fics or little shorties or any of my posts--you are absolutely more than welcome to.
The only thing I ask is to @ me so I can fangirl over it properly and spread it around so others may see it too.
Authors, if you feel this way, I highly recommend putting a blanket permission statement on your AO3 profile. (this also goes for things like podfic, remixes, translations, and anything else that you feel like including).
Artists, if you feel awkward asking (although 99% of authors would probably be thrilled!) look on their profile page to see if they have a blanket permission statement.
A permission statement is a way that you, as a creator, can tell other creators what you do and do not allow others to do with your work.
It's really helpful to share that information in an easily-accessible and permanent place because reblogging a post on tumblr or adding a tag to a post is only going to be seen by the people who catch that post when you put it up. Someone coming along 6 months or 2 years or a decade later will have no idea. Plus, you might have changed your mind in the intervening time.
It can be intimidating, difficult, or even impossible to directly ask someone if they'll allow you to create something based on their work, so a permission statement makes it all so much easier.
If you want to read more about permission statements, there's an article on Fanlore.
If you want to see what they look like, you can take a look at mine on my own AO3 account. Feel free to copy it and modify it however suits you.
Or you can make use of tools like @fanworkspermissionstatement that can help you build your own from the ground up.
(I got 4 podfics last year from absolute strangers, and all of them felt comfortable doing that because of my permission statement. just sayin')
I have done so on my AO3 profile, but I do welcome fanart of my fanfics. I have never had any, but I would welcome it :)
