As the first Music Monday post, I think I should post my personal favorite of my few song edits. It’s not much of a difference from the original song, but there’s a certain element of atmosphere to be gained when you add the famous Oppenheimer quote to English.

Okay so wow, I didn't expect this kind of a response already.

Hello there everyone! I would like to start getting projects officially underway by this weekend. That means what I need right now is submissions of fanfic, fanart, and cosplay photo recommendations.

I also want to get a good dialogue going about what we might want to do for a thank you project - a book, or otherwise?

As for the discussion of making an anime, I direct you to the actual homestuck anime blog. It'll go much better if we pool our efforts!

FYI, my favorite specific idea so far (besides attempting the anime) is attempting some kind of mass-scale Can Town Donation Day - I feel like it's something that would be in really positive spirit. The only problem being, we're only three weeks away from 11/11, which probably isn't enough time to organize something like that on a large scale, and April is too far off. Maybe 12/1 or 12/12 as a 12th Perigee's thing?

What about a book with a huge collection of fanart and messages from fans? I know that thankyou-homestuck has a lot of different stories... We could collect them all into a large book and give it to him.

That would definitely be an option. The Admin will go look at thankyou-homestuck and see where our ideas overlap!

The option of a video thank you montage came to mind, too; have people do 15 or 30 second videos and then choose 10-15 minutes worth, probably by lottery, to either clip together dramatically or play as-is.

Masterpost of other series to enjoy in the mean time

Weekly featured fanfic post (probably split up into Romance, Gen, and AU?)

Weekly or daily featured fanart post

Organize a thank you project - possibly a national can town donation project?

Also it sounds like there's actually interest in doing at least an episode or two of an anime! So we're recruiting for that!

If there is really a thing going on animation-wise amongst the fandom this anon right here is a pretty fair with being a clean up artist and colorist. Sorry for the Anon just seeing the whispers amongst the sea of fans.

It's way too soon to tell, but I'm certainly willing to help coordinate things, and it's good to know we have people who can do some of the less well-known necessary parts.

The more interested volunteers we can get, the more likely we can actually make this happen.

I'm totally onboard with a final THANK YOU HUSSIE type thing. Something that'll make that bastard cry in joy. Since he stomped and burned and hopesploded our hearts many times. We gotta thank him man. We have to.

This I am 100% on board for. Maybe some insanely large art piece that'll crash his computer the say he's crashed the internet?

That giant book that someone gave him filled with all those messages and urls and such comes to mind.

There's definitely enough manpower in this fandom to theoretically do so, it'd just be a matter of organizing the people.

I'm thinking we should use this space to keep ourselves entertained in a somewhat constructive way during the Gigapause

I'm not sure exactly how yet, but I'm open to suggestions.
