Oscar through Lando's lens...

I've long held this theory that you can tell from a photo how the photographer feels about their subject. And in many cases, you can see how the subject feels about the photographer (though not nearly as consistently or reliably). These pictures of Oscar were all taken by Lando and are arranged in chronological order from early 2023 to this week.

You can basically see the evolution of their relationship. My feelings can't take it.

I totally agree with you, but it depends on which account and which drivers you're referring to. eg, many Oscar/landoscar fans tried to raise awareness about this issue, but then you have Oscar's mom liking inappropriate things, and the feeling is that the people who are rightfully complaining are exaggerating 🤷‍♀️

personally, I've never came across Oscar's mum liking anything "inappropriate" online, so if this is true I'd really appreciate if someone could show the source!

along with this, I'm really not exaggerating. I've seen MANY reels and edits of drivers like landoscar with suggestive lyrics, rpf discussions in captions and comments, and even links to ao3 fics— really showing that there's no exaggeration here. If you don't believe me, I've seen a whole account who does this, and they've hearted comments tagging lando and Oscar. ik the chance of them seeing it is rare, but it isn't impossible. and the more it continues, the more likely it will be that they see it. it's just risky and i think as a fandom and community we should be mindful of that.

it doesn't matter which driver or account I'm talking about because it will all lead to the same thing, the driver seeing that stuff and feeling uncomfortable. While already being a grey area in fandom culture, having the drivers be exposed to it is even worse.

listen, I'm all for driver x driver edits.. but making a whole account with their ship name, then posting edits and then not deleting comments that tag those drivers— are we actually serious rn??? Listen, rpf is great and all, but there's a reason we keep it limited to fandom spaces like Tumblr and ao3, and not on twitter and instagram. If ur gonna post on non fandom sites, atleast block the drivers and don't let people tag the drivers. Imagine you were a celeb and you got mentioned in a fantasy edit with you and your coworker... do you see the problem here?
