I've risked my last train home out of rainy Brighton to stop and take a picture of this beauty. This is the Brighthelm Centre. I love the textured concrete at the front of the building, and while the brick behind doesn't do much for me, it certainly makes a great first impression. The cross recessed into the textured concrete is a particularly nice touch.

This painting is of of man with a torso of a bird cage. He is seen sitting on an edge of a cliff, out looking into endless sea beyond, which, as i mentioned before, is influenced by my childhood. This painting is called the “The Therapeutist” (therapist) because one bird is trying to talk to the other, who is alone, secluded, and in a dark place. This symbolizes how therapists try to coax their patients from coming out of their dark place, and try to have them confess what they are feeling inside. As it is 1937, I feel this might be one of my posts. Good bye everyone, thanks for reading!

Richard Hescox, “First Contact.” When I wanted to include this artwork in my art collection, I reached out to the artist for more information on where it was first published and got a surprising answer: Never. Hescox created it as a sample for his portfolio in 1975.

My art collection has a nice clean version of it in my section about gunfights in space. So, today is the first time this one has appeared in print!
