âI-Itâs just that weâre not kids anymore, so I just wasnât sure if youâd be comfortable sharing a bedâŠâ he responds shyly with a slight shrug, before moving himself more under the covers. Iri almost forgot how cozy and warm Milaanâs mattress was⊠It was really nice, especially having Milaan beside him.
His eyes softenâs when hearing his friends confession â and his heart admittedly sped up to know that they felt the same loneliness as him. Iri shuffles in a little closer, close enough that they were almost touching. He was tempted to close that gap and just curl up and cuddle the prince close, but he refrained himself. It wouldnât be appropriateâŠ
But gosh why did Milaan have to grow up to be so⊠beautiful. Without a doubt, Iri felt he probably would have developed these feelings towards the other nonetheless because of their wonderful personality. But the prince had really grown to become a gorgeous person and it almost drove his hormones crazy.
Staying in the same as Milaan was now becoming a really bad idea. Yet he couldnât bring himself to go away⊠he wanted to be close with the other. Even just as friendsâŠ
âOf course you can, Milaan. You can tell me anythingâŠâ he says softly, also turning to his side so he could look at the prince. But gosh⊠he was so closeâŠ
For a few more seconds, Milaan could only stare at the other male, taking in his warm expression and his breathtaking appearance. The prince could feel his face heating up a bit and he averted his eyes, his throat going dry. The other made him speechless sometimes, and it just wasn't fair. How could he fall for his best friend...? He needed to come clean about it.Â
"I'm... in love with you, Irirangi." Milaan replied rather quietly, his shy gaze slowly drifting back to meet Iri's own. He was grateful that his bedroom had soundproof walls, if someone overheard the conversation, things might not go over well...
He wanted to scoot closer, he wanted to kiss Iri, to be wrapped up in his strong arms... but he restrained himself. Milaan needed to wait to hear Iri's response to the sudden confession. Honestly, he was doubting Iri felt the same. What if Iri never wanted to see him again because of it?
