Always nice to find an eager opponent. But without knowing just how strong they were he’d stick with the basics.

“An Amnesiac swordsman are you? Hum then don’t forget me when you save the world” it was an old cliche but damn if it didn’t prove true more often than not. Quip out of the way Gilgamesh drew a Naginata, an old favorite.

Random Idea

Remake Final Fantasy 5, but as a dating sim. Looking over the cast again and how nearly everyone is obsessed with Bartz (Gilgamesh included) it just kind of makes sense.

Agreed~ It showed my babe with a full complement of Legendary swords. Excalibur And Excalipoor (the two don’t like to be separated it seems). Masamune and Muramasa (Rival blades by most accounts). Then, of course, we have Zantetsuken the Iron cutter itself (though I like to call it the blade that cuts the horizon) and a Gilgamesh Original a Bashosen themed to look like Enkidu (I could cry)

“stow away... s tow a way, toe away?” He was drunk and babbling as the rift opened behind him. The warrior turned to enter it as a means of escape but instead fell face first into the ground a few feet shy of the swirling door to the Void.

A gentle clinking came from behind the Gambler's bar with however no patron in sight.

Glances over at the bar with disinterest thinking it might be Locke skulking about again and up to no good.

Up pops a head, clad in red and white with eyes attempting some approximation of innocence but only reaching vague, and obviously drunken, disinterest. 

“I whas -hic- like this wheen I got herrre”

That said, the Tamaranean recoils with bent knees, eyes glowing bright lilac as well as two purple energy bolts manifesting around closed fists. She jumps from her position, throwing herself forward with such ferocity it tore the concrete from its foundation, curling outward.

With a grunt, Blackfire bombards him with an array of darkbolts, darting forward with intentions to slam a mighty fist against his cheek.

Already, she felt her blood quickening, her powers surging, her strength increasing. She hadn’t participated in a good battle for a long, long time. Not since she’d become exiled from her home planet. All that pent up energy needed release. It had stayed dormant far too long.

None of his blades connected. He expected as much but the energy bolts were a surprise, they were blocked more out of sheer volume of blades than of skill. Her fist approached on the heels of that barrage faster than he could react to, even with two legends held overhead the blow rocked him off his feet.

Zephyr tried to catch him with a gust of wind but Excalibur was already on it and better. A few feet back he landed from the blow with his feet under him again.

“Ohh Good start ~”

“That seems pretty clear, given that Self-Destruct spell.” Faris said, a faint smirk on her face, and still somewhat surprised Gilgamesh had survived that.

Scratching the back of her head, the Captain then added “But for all that stupidity, you did give some good advice, I’ll have to admit.”

what advice did he give the captain? It didn’t really matter now, it had been good advice at the time (they said so themselves). 

“The Wisdom of Gilgamesh is vaunted the world over” and even he couldn’t help but laugh through the words
