Embrace uncertainty. Some of the most beautiful chapters in our lives won’t have a title until much later.

Celes nodded. “You’re probably right. If she’s happy, that’s probably the best for her.” SHe knew she was maybe too INDEPENDENT sometimes. She would always be that way though. She had been raised to rely on no one but herself. With her time with her friends, saving the world, she had stopped to fully agree with that point of you. Forming bond of TRUST was also important, and she had come to feel that way while joining the Returners. This was because of their friendship and teamwork that they had managed to defeat Kefka, after all.
“I was saying this because she stopped singing though. But I don’t know her. Maybe it wasn’t even her passion to begin with, or maybe she found something else.” She chuckled a bit. “You probably already know that but I tend to judge other people quickly way too often. This is why I barely talk at a first meeting, to make sure I don’t make a mistake.” The fact that she had never been socialized as a child had never helped, of course.
“Everyone is different, so I try to give them the benefit of a doubt first.” The gambler lit himself a cigarette and puffed on it thoughtfully. “But you’re a fighter, it’s in your blood just as the sky is in my own, and I do not expect you to be any different than you are. In fact, it would be odder to me if you were very talkative and didn’t judge people.”
If what he had heard about the woman’s upbringing was true he also didn’t doubt that she had a difficult life, one that hadn’t been made any easier once she joined the Returners on their quest. With the world broken as it was it didn’t look like things would get any easier anytime soon either.
“In the end all we can try to do is get by, so hopefully Maria is happy with her life now and you with yours.”
"Yanno, feels like every other sentence, yer' pinin' fer someone. There's a story there, I can tell! Come on, won't ya' share with an old sea dog?"
“Ah, but there have been many fine ladies to tell tales of and I wouldn’t want to overwhelm you with them all. On the other hand, you sound quite fascinating yourself. You really should tell me of your life at sea.”
I look for you everywhere; small gestures made by all kinds of people in the street remind me of you, by their similarity as much as by their differences, but I cannot say what is obsessing me; it obsesses me utterly and leaves no strength to express it.

"Ya' don't say?? What happened then?" She replied, starry-eyed as she took a swig of her rum.
“Well, I was finally able to finish building my airship. It took many long years to accomplish because I had to build it from scratch with no guarantee it would work. So I had sunk every bit of money and time I could into the project and success or failure there was no turning back. Fortunately for me Lady Luck was on my side and it was a success and that’s how I came to finally take to the skies.”
"When did ya' take up the skyfarin' life ta' start with?"
My muse will be accepting 10 personal questions. All answered with 100% honesty.
“Now I could never refuse a beautiful lady an answer.” The gambler gave her a smile, amused that the woman would take any sort of interest in him. “For me the sky has always been in my blood as I always wanted to fly ever since I was a child. However, I wasn’t able to achieve that dream until much later when I was around twenty-three years old.”

「サイクリングで手賀沼へ✨(昨日撮影)」 Blue Sky in Lake Teganuma(Taken May 24,2019) Location:Abiko City,Chiba Prefecture,Japan

My muse will be accepting 10 personal questions. All answered with 100% honesty.
"Oh, 'intimate'?" She felt the faintest rush of blood spread to her cheeks. Ah, yes, she knew of that. "Me?" There was bewilderment in her soft tone. Although, as embarrassing as the realization was, she appreciated Setzer's honesty. Edgar or Locke might have made it harder to figure out. It suddenly made sense why other men would leave her alone when she mentioned she had children. So they assumed she was... married, too? She let an awkward silence fall over her.
The mention of children was likely more than enough to drive off most men seeking a quick fling and it was rather lucky for Terra to have mentioned it as that probably saved her some serious trouble. Well, he supposed Lady Luck had to smile on the lot of them every once in awhile - a shame it wasn’t more often.
“To be fair you are a lovely young lady, so unless everyone was stricken blind it’s only natural that you’d have men interested in you. However, they really do need to learn some more tact if they hope to get anywhere with anyone.” He made a soft tsking sound at the thought. “Really, their choice of pick-up lines is absolutely atrocious.”
Spend the night? "Oh, well... I would have to politely decline that too; it would be difficult to leave the children on their own." Terra places her hands behind her back.
Terra was beyond innocent and while it was charming in its own sort of way the drawbacks of it were unable to be ignored. It was kind of like how right now she stood before him without a clue about what he had meant when he spoke of the stranger’s motivations earlier. Really, how could he wreck such innocence? But on the other hand, to let her continue on in ignorance where she could get in trouble or hurt would be even worse.
“More like it was his not so subtle way to say he wanted to be intimate with you...”
Terra walks up to Setzer. "Hello, Setzer, so an odd man at a pub asked me, 'shall we adjourn to my airship and get our gears going?'" She tilts her head in confusion. "I politely told him I already know of one with an airship. The man seemed rather flustered and walked away... do you think I said the wrong thing?"
“Some people really do lack all class.” The gambler mumbled more to himself than to the woman standing before him. Not that she would understand what he meant by those words - he was certain - but it didn’t change that fact was true nonetheless. “No, more like he was the one saying the wrong thing.”
What kind of a low-life would use that sort of pick-up line anyway? There was only one airship in the world and he was the one that possessed it so it wasn’t even logical to claim. Or worse yet, the fool probably saw his own ship outside of town and decided to claim it as his own. The lows that some people would stoop to...
“It was more like he was trying to spend the night with you.”
