idk if this is an usamerican thing or not but it always blows my mind as a small european country resident that yall have many names and types of apples???? what do you mean its not just red yellow or green??? why is it so complicated??? who is granny smith????
'whats your favorite apple' 'red' 'no i mean like what type' '??????' actual conversatiom i've had with a mutual from usa
THIRTY TWO??????
Listen that doesn’t even account for all the weird shit local farmers are getting up to.
May I present the best apple:
the world is so big and beautiful
My family has a full blown heirloom variety named after us
I mean, we have six varieties of apple trees right in our own (little) yard, if you include not only the regular types but also the edible and bitter crabapple varieties
doesn't everyone around the world have greater diversity than "red, yellow, and green"?
Review of the bafflingly named Ludacrisp apple which has no affiliation with Dirty South rapper Ludacris whatsoever.
:D
As a brewer, making cider with ludacrisp apples added a lovely natural citrus note without having to use citric acid for flavor adjustment. Brewed a gallon with them last year. Was delighted by them at the time too!
