I’m sorry that you feel like I “ditched” y’all. That wasn’t my intention. When tumblr decided to give the ax to adult content, I’m pretty sure only fans was either really new or didn’t exist. I did make a twitter, and I posted as much as I could... but life got in the way.

Hello tumblr. Long time, no post.

I hope y’all are all as well as you can be, current global situations be as they may.

Me? Well. Things could definitely be better.

I’m a healthcare worker, so I’m on the front line of all this mess. We haven’t had it as bad here in Iowa as other parts of the US (looking at you, New England) but it hasn’t been easy. I’m not positive that I haven’t gotten COVID at some point (I was sick at the end of April — I had a negative test result though... but I was exposed).

Holy stress levels though.

Between dodging people posting and shouting about how the virus is fake (it’s not) and trying to not GET the damn thing or bring it home and spread it... I’m surprised my hair isn’t gray.

I moved in with my best friend in January... and we joined cat forces. SIX CATS between us both.

He got laid off from work before the virus started (part of why I moved in, to help with bills)... and he was fixing to start working again... then COVID.

So we’re behind on the mortgage, and the bank is a bag of dicks. They won’t work with us. Our governor had placed a stay on foreclosures when the virus hit... but has since let those protections expire. So.

I’m probably going to be homeless.

I’ve tried to apply for my own mortgage to buy the house myself from his bank... but my credit is too low to be approved without a THIRTY PERCENT DOWN PAYMENT.

How the heckle am I supposed to come up with $35k in five days?! I have maybe a third of that if I empty savings. But I’m fucked. We’re fucked.

I have no idea what to do.
