“It’s bullsh*t to think of friendship and romance as being different. They’re not. They’re just variations of the same love. Variations of the same desire to be close.”

Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

“The bravest thing I ever did was continuing my life when I wanted to die.”
— Juliette Lewis (via purplebuddhaquotes)
“Give the gift of your absence to those who do not appreciate your presence.”

“Despite how open, peaceful, and loving you attempt to be, people can only meet you as deeply as they’ve met themselves.”
— Matt Kahn (via purplebuddhaquotes)
“It is okay to be at a place of struggle. Struggle is just another word for growth. Even the most evolved beings find themselves in a place of struggle now and then. In fact, struggle is a sure sign to them that they are expanding; it is their indication of real and important progress. The only one who doesn’t struggle is the one who doesn’t grow. So if you are struggling right now, see it as a terrific sign — and celebrate your struggle.”
— Neale Donald Walsch (via purplebuddhaquotes)
Gotta keep it sharp!
Well here it is folks. I was unlucky enough to get the one guy who felt the need to cut 15lbs for a submission grappling tournament. So he was in about 170 and I’m here at 150 even. As well near the end my left arm gave out due to the cubital tunnel syndrome I suffer from. That being said despite my frustration I lost fair and square. I need to own that fact. But this put a real chip on my shoulder and I will not rest until i get that win back times twenty.
Cuttin it up - Wu Tang 👹🙏 . Accuracy on the tennis ball 👊🔥 . Throw back to when it was cold enough to train in a hat
Some photos from my match taken by a good friend of mine. Might have lost this one but the chip it put on my shoulder only confirmed how much I want to fight, to compete. Getting that win back times twenty.
