At just 4 years old, my sister doesn’t understand the difficulty of the situation. When she’s hungry, why can’t we give her food? When it’s too hot or too cold, why can’t we put glass on the window? When she’s sick, why can’t we take her to the doctor? When she’s scared, why can’t we stop the bombs from falling? She doesn’t understand. Adults are supposed to solve everything.

Even I, as an adult, have a hard time wrapping my mind around a kilo of flour reaching $200, cash converters taking a 50% commission and a destroyed, unlivable room costing $1,300 every month. I can’t understand how no one has stopped this for two whole years. So what do we tell her? What do we tell the little ones?

Please help me give her a life she can understand. I promise anything helps, even if you can only donate $5, and even if you can’t afford that, even if you can only share. Anything at all, please, we just ask that you don’t ignore us as we call for help 🙏
