For artists

I got several messages about this so here’s my answer (in case anyone who didn’t ask cares)

It can be a bit disheartening to draw for either a dead or an old fandom, especially when your followers expect something else from you (basically when another fandom brought them on your blog in the first place). You share your art, a bit of your soul, and you get no reaction. Sometimes you can even watch your followers leave…

Here’s a thing: popularity is great. Posting something and getting feedbacks, comments and attention is wonderful.

Here’s another: drawing what makes you happy is a delight. 

Having lots of comments, reblogs and likes is indeed wonderful, I mean getting a response on your art is basically why you post your art on social network. Sharing a new piece and facing silence is hard and can lead to doubt. How many times have I seen artists doubting their skills because a drawing of their OC or their original art weren’t getting enough notes? Too many times! But I still think that the most important is for you to look at your art and be proud and happy with it. 

Don’t know about you but I’d hate to draw something I don’t like or that makes me feel nothing only for notes (and… I’ve probably done it a few times because I was scared to be forgotten.) 

So if you hesitate because you know your followers want something else and that your next piece will probably not be very popular, just wonder what YOU want. (Of course, if the answer is “I want popularity!” I guess this whole post in pointless)

I did a rewatch and I realized that this scene and song was made perfectly for these three. In order: Vonotar , Red Plague and Count Badluck.

really, Moses is even as arrogant as my little red asshole. The difference is that after their shows, Red Plague would have kill them all, probably.

Batman

Commission in watercolour requested by a dear friend of mine who adores Gotham's most famous vigilant. 

I'm pretty happy with the result, having never drawn batman before.

The image itself is ispired by a cover of a comic that I saw a few days ago passing in front of a newsstand.

Me and my bf are totally undecided about which couple canonize. That’s why I made the issues a real ship battle:

which side are you on?

Team Desmond (which is my side! Because I adore Desmond, he fell in love with Karin almost instantly but he realized it very much later. But… Yeah, despite this after the first mission together he convinced her to hang out and have a drink at the tavern… and the result was a beautiful and unforgettable shag.)

Team Bear (wich is my bf side. Bear is a kai lord: the sworn enemy of Karin’s side. But the attraction has no rules, especially if the kai name “Bear” fully reflects its body super-muscularity. The same happens for the super sexy female warrior. So fuck it enemy sides.)
