Am I too woke because Idk ab you but I think genderfluid Jax is a bit of a messed up headcanon because it's born out of the desire to still view Jax as a still partly man and not a woman. Jax was never officially out so her pronouns are still he/him in canon but it's pretty dang clear to me that if she WERE out she'd be a she/her user.

IF YOU THINK THAT SOMEONE IS GIVING YOU A FAKE NUMBER

Read the number they gave you back to them, but change two or three digits. If they say it’s cool, then it’s obvious that they just threw some digits at you and are too cowardly and passive-aggressive to date anyone; move on.

If they have never mentioned (or you can’t observe) that they are not from South Dakota nor Washington NOR Iowa, and they try to give you the 605, 206, or 515 area code respectfully, look at them straight in the eye and say, “You know, a mature adult would have responded with, ‘No, sorry, I do not want to give you my number.” Then be the bigger person by walking away.

800, 844, 855, 866, 887, and 888 are area codes for North American toll-free numbers; if they start with that, say, “ha ha, no, your phone number.”

It isn’t passive aggressive to give a fake number to a douchebag who won’t leave you alone no matter how many times you tell them to.

Don’t jump on this when you don’t understand the difference between asking politely for a number and just being a creep and harassing people.

I can’t remember if I’ve plugged this before on my blog, but in case I haven’t, Burner is an app that will let you send/receive calls & texts from a legit phone number in any area code without letting the other person know your actual phone number.  I recommend any girls in the club scene or that otherwise have to regularly deal with these interactions to download it.  You get a fake number that you can give the guy, if he calls you on it your phone will ring, and at the end of the night you can delete the number, change it for another one, or just set it to never ring that caller to you again.

It’s also useful for folks going on Match/eHarmony/blind dates, or for craigslist/freecycle exchanges.  You can give the person your “number,” but if the date goes to hell, burn the number and move on with your life.

Also useful for setting up Shadowrun-esque alternate reality/cyberpunk LARPs, or otherwise creating real-life adventures where the folks want to use multiple unknown numbers.

Honestly I think people are more than in the right to be upset over how White Lily's character ended. Like okay sure it was always going to end like that logically (though it was really easy to just... find a loophole),

The issue is that you can't just make a character who's extremely mentally ill and suicidal have an arc where she realized she needs to move on from her faults, needs to forgive herself and allow herself to finally be happy after everything that happened, and then give her an ending where her death was the ONLY possible way she could "attone" for what she's done. You. You guys do understand the issue with that, right. "It's a cookie game" I cannot begin to stress how common it is in media for people to kill off mentally ill characters that were starting to heal as a way to end their stories. And I cannot begin to stress how awful of a message that is. It really is kind of a big deal
