hey sweethearts, i'm still not stopping with the autumn posts, more are coming up, because... i REPEAT winter doesn't start until DECEMBER 21st lol! but everyone knows novemeber is when we get into the winter/christmas spirit.
i feel like last year i really didn't post enough winter-themed posts, let alone christmas ones for 2024, so i wanted to do something different for this year. next year i'm going to be launching soooo many things for my brand, and i'm so excited.
okay, so this post isn't about that, this post will be a long list of things i personally find magically only in the winter season, i feel like each season has its own kind of magic, and winter is a prominent one. the world goes sooo cold that you can actually feel the warmth of everything that matters.

♡ the way city lights hit the snow.
♡ those freezing walks home where your thought feel louder than the traffic.
♡ hot drinks that actually mean something
♡ the glow and natural makeup you get from the cold (rosy cheeks, glossy lips, watery eyes)
♡ late night talks that only happen when the sky turns dark at 5pm. i feel like winter conversations are deeper, slower, and maybe a little sad and a little hopeful.
♡ seeing your breath when you laugh or talk. IT'S SO stupidly magical. it's proof you're alive and warm in a place that's freezing your car windows.
♡ streetlights wearing halos at 4pm. the sun gives up early and every lamp post turns into a glowing floating orb. suddenly your neighborhood looks like a ghibli film. it's sooo magically.
♡ omg, that single golden window glowing in a dark house. from the outside on a rainy/snowy cold night... it looks like a portal to warmth and cinnamon. instant comfort.
♡ candles that actually change your mood (vanilla, cinnamon, pine etc)
♡ getting into a warm car after freezing outside. OOOOOMGGG that first rush of heat hitting your legs. so heavenly.
♡ music in december. no explanation needed.
♡ foggy windows in coffee shops
♡ the feeling of putting on lotion after your skin's been dry all day
♡ falling asleep with the heater humming
♡ decorating for christmas
♡ the smell of winter pastries
♡ studying w/ cold fingertips and peppermint gum
♡ when the cold makes you cry
♡ that specific shade of pink-purple sky at 4:30pm sunset. it only exists for like 7 minutes in december/january.
