Serori had done Glacia a single, solitary kindness. She had tempered her rage for a few agonizing hours, each feeling like a small eternity inside a larger one. She would do Glacia the favor of not killing her in front of her son, and so she had waited until Kuriza was elsewhere to make her move. Had the Arcosian woman any sense of self-preservation, she would have avoided the Earth altogether, but evidently she was as stupid as she looked. Serori could hardly be held accountable for what happened to such an idiot.
Her ki (though somehow different, not hers at all anymore) was impossible to hide at this point, the flaring energy surrounding her unwilling to be quashed for even a second. It mattered little, as Serori’s speed was unfathomable, even to herself. It seemed as though she would start in one place and appear at the next almost without realizing it.
This was no different. Glacia was going somewhere, but Serori had no intention of letting her reach her destination. A loud crack announced her arrival. They were somewhere out in the ocean, Serori noticed. The force of her landing split a small islet under her feet in two, cratering and sending columns of water in all directions.
When the water had fallen, Serori was floating in front of Glacia with her arms crossed. Rather than her usual training clothes or her stripped-down battle attire, she was instead clad in Saiyan battle armor, the very same armor stolen from her people by Frieza, along with their planet and their future. The armor was red with a white breastplate and black accents, over a black jumpsuit. Her tail was wrapped tightly around her waist, golden as her hair. A similarly-colored aura pulsed around her, punctuated by small jolts of blue lightning. Thick black lines around her eyes demanded immediate attention, but they were only good for temporarily pulling focus from the curled, imposing ‘M’ burnt into her forehead.
Her lips curled back into a contemptuous smirk as she regarded the Arcosian. For the moment, she was silently imposing, content to surprise, frighten, or rattle Glacia before ending her. Still, she couldn’t keep her mouth shut for long, not when given an opportunity like this. “So, it’s about time we finally had that fight, don’t you think? I’m certainly sick of waiting for it.”
If there were any planet that she would have no business being on, Earth was certainly on that list. There were several inhabitants of this planet that she would much rather avoid - including the warriors that killed her son’s father, uncle and grandfather - but alas, she found herself here. Kuriza had become very curious about it, and while she made sure her son stayed on the ship, she and several other surveyors traveled down to get a better feel of it.
No, there was no real monetary value of the planet, of course. Not that she had any interest in razing and selling the thing for an exorbitant amount, but even if she did, from what she could find, the humans had done well enough to start their own destruction of their home.
That, and not to mention Venan and several of her other comrades would be displeased. So, surveying was enough.
Glacia had found her way to a beach, passing it easily as she made her way over the ocean. It was warm here, much warmer than her home planet, and it had dulled her senses just a bit. The salty air stung her nose, and her mind drifted to other planets similar to this one. They’d make good vacation spots...maybe she could come back if she ever decided to give herself a break from work.
That’s when she felt it. Last minute, she gasped and whirled around, nearly knocked back by a gale of power. Power greater than she’d ever imagined...even greater than...she tried not to think of that one, green eyes narrowing as she finally saw who it was.
Serori.
Not this again. The Saiyan just never gave up...unsurprising, but still irritating. Even as she tried to ignore her, avoid her, she had a way of showing up where she wasn’t wanted. In other situations, she tried to be civil towards the other female, at least for Venan’s sake, but it would seem she’d have none of it.
And now...she could feel the bloodlust on her ki. It was no surprise she was here for a fight...Glacia’s tail swayed back and forth slowly as she kept her eyes dead on her, face unimpressed.
Inside, however, the sight of Serori’s form...her face...was sending chills all through her.
“Last I checked, I told you I didn’t want to fight you.” She responded curtly, polite but reserved as she watched her. Glacia wasn’t going to kid herself; Serori was leagues stronger than her, even with the extra training she had been doing.
She didn’t have a death wish.
