It's tough to say! I love Omitted Memory from the Remaster, but at the same time the angst in me absolute adores the Puppet ending <3

But if we're talking Arc specifically, I like Missing End C, I think called Continuance 4? where we get to see the pile of Mario corpses and Marchionne has his body. (it's also where it's revealed Riba loves Mario, im so rotted for them)

no, but being so serious, Riba as he is now would not be the most ideal of father figures. AS HE IS NOW, I have to emphasize, cuz I'm sure in time he'd be awesome

and adding in that the baby is a HALF demon,, oh that's just a nightmare waiting to happen <3

Mario would absolutely be one of those dads that's like "my child has done no wrong ever in their life <3" kind of spoiling them, but really having good intentions! whereas Riba kinda awkwardly holds them away from himself with a "<:( you good?"

I like to think they’d be pleasantly surprised by each other!! Luciano, as far as I know, is a pretty chill enough dude. just wanted to reunite with his bro before the Craziness happened

maybe him and Weegee would bond over loving simple life. Luciano would 100% be a little jealous over Luigi and Mario’s relationship. only cuz he’s happy over how times have changed + the stigma over twins has passed

there was an ending where marchionne takes over mario's body and ends up killing riba when he goes out looking for mario; interestingly enough this is (I THINK) the only ending where luigi and riba get along b/c riba vowed to mario to take care of his bro. your thoughts + do you think that luigi would end up finding marchionne too eventually?

that ending takes my lungs out every time, thank u for reminding me of it :D

they 100% have to cross paths eventually, i mean as big a world as it is, there’s someone bound to be like “oh u look JUST like our hero, Mario! i should get Luigi, cuz he’s apparently been missing for Mushroom God knows how long”

if they do cross paths, i imagine it’d be similar to Riba’s encounter with him. in the sense that Marchionne is incredibly hostile and wants nothing to do with Mario’s former life! (maybe with a little less death tho, lmao)

I am!! not sure, actually. I like to think Riba is aware that Mario can take care of himself, it’s more a matter of shoving away his pride in favor of building up Mario. from what I gather from previous relationships, Riba is v much a breadwinner-type, so having Mar as a capable, albeit headstrong hero-type would be An Experience for sure.

I imagine Riba doesn’t tag along during most adventures, but if he does, it’s less protecting Mario and more worrying about him. Like the funny, “you’re stupidly small and that is a giant bullet!!! You Will Die!!!!!” moments hehe
