if you're saying "this is just modern Nazi-ism" about anything other than actual modern Nazi-ism, then I regret to inform you: Bruh, we still got Nazis. Modern Nazi-ism is still Nazis.
Someone tried to pull the "You call everyone Nazis" line on me during the presidents first run for election.
So I loaded up a news site and pulled up a picture of one of his rallies where they had swastika flags big enouh that it took four people standing behind one to hold it up. There was also an interview where one of them said something like "we're nazis and we support him"
So no, not everyone I don't agree with. Just the self admitted, flag flying nazis.
thinking about white women and the purring jew
imagine saying someone is “Spiritually Chinese” as an insult. revoltingly racist. this is what “Spiritually Israeli” sounds like to anyone who isn’t also revoltingly racist.
i mean the chinese aren't committing a genocide with the support of the entire western world
Wow I wonder if the person denying China’s genocide against the Uyghur Muslims and their aid in Russia’s genocide against Ukrainians actually cares about genocide, or if they’re just looking for an excuse to insult Jewish culture. Who could tell?
"committing a genocide with the support of the entire western world"
The Gaza War is already over
The United Kingdom, France, Spain and many European nations have also recently moved to recognise Palestine. And with plenty of moves to even restrict arm sales to Israel
Also, the US has also recently thrown Israel under the bus by agreeing to a deal acceding to all of Iran's demands
Wonder if @spaghetti-ex2 have been living under a rock
i think one of the best parts about being a teenager in the early to mid 2010s was that cigarettes were definitely not cool anymore and vapes hadn’t popularized yet so my lungs made it out of my peak impressionable years relatively unscathed
"But isn't it okay if people are spreading conspiracy theories about data centers as long as it gets them fired up about billionaires or the environment? Can't you just let people enjoy harmless entertainment like astrology? Does it really matter if people are using homeopathy or chiropractors as long as they're happy? Isn't it rude to call out people whose religious beliefs are obviously disproved by science because it's their faith? What's the problem with people believing in ghosts and aliens even if they have no evidence?"
How many woo-woo-to-fascism pipelines do we have to create before we accept that any system in which we agree to prioritize what makes people feel good and comfortable over objective, observable reality is inherently prone to radicalization. How many times are we going to act shocked that people who refuse to accept scientific evidence in regards to crystal energy and repressed memories then move on to refusing to accept scientific evidence in regards to vaccines and chemotherapy. How many times are we going to hold people's hands and tell them of COURSE it's okay to believe things just because they Feel Right and not because you have even a shred of evidence and then act shocked when they start believing the people who tell them that all their problems are caused by minorities?
Everyone start developing basic epistemological consistency right fucking now, I am no longer asking
> any system in which we agree to prioritize what makes people feel good and comfortable over objective, observable reality is inherently prone to radicalization [and radicalization is icky so we can't let people base their politics on their feelings]
I have a few issues with Ben Shapiro's epistemic hygiene, actually.
Yes, people becoming radicalized based on their feelings about things that are *literally not true* is extremely bad, and yes, Ben Shapiro is the poster child for "radicalized because he believes a bunch of shit that is demonstrably untrue".
The conservative rallying cry of "facts over feelings" is in fact a correct worldview, it's just that conservatives have incorrectly identified themselves as being on the "factual" side of the equation when they are driven almost entirely by their feelings (about things that are. and I cannot stress this enough. demonstrably untrue.)
The entire point of this post is that we should not accept "it's okay to become radicalized based on vibes and feelings" because once you set that precedent, *you do not get to choose in which direction people get radicalized*.
You cannot say "it's okay for people to be radicalized by a bunch of shit they read online with no backing" and then act shocked when a bunch of people fall for alt-right fascist talking points because they read it online with no backing.
So Boston is straight up running out of beer because of all the Scottish tourists in for the World Cup

The Anti-Defamation League says it's a clear violation of rights, and places blame on the school and district officials.
The Anti-Defamation League has filed a federal civil rights complaint alleging a Jewish student was subjected to persistent, escalating and severe antisemitic harassment and assault at a Boulder middle school.
The complaint says the student, who is in eighth grade, faced two school years of escalating harassment by multiple students based on Jewish identity, including antisemitic slurs, Nazi salutes, Holocaust mockery, threats, and physical assaults.
The alleged assaults and harassment occurred at Southern Hills Middle School throughout seventh and eighth grades.
According to the complaint, the district knew about the harassment starting in 2024, including through family reports, school investigations, and police involvement, but failed to stop the harassment from continuing.
The school and district often shifted the burden onto the victim, the complaint alleges — for example, by moving the student, excusing him from activities, or requiring him to avoid peers, rather than stopping the aggressors.
“It was a tough case to work on. It's a tough case to read. We could only imagine how tough it was for our client to be the victim of these incidents,” said James Pasch, ADL vice president of litigation. “Despite the family’s pleas for help to stop the harassment, the school district failed to effectively address it, a clear violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.”
Title VI prohibits discrimination based on race, color or national origin in public schools, which encompasses discrimination against Jewish students based on shared ancestry or ethnic characteristics.
Boulder Valley School District issued the following statement: “While the Boulder Valley School District does not comment on ongoing legal matters, we take all allegations of discrimination and harassment seriously. We continue to focus on improvements to our policies, reporting systems, practices, and education efforts — all with the goal of ensuring every BVSD student feels safe, welcomed, and a strong sense of belonging.”
Main allegations
The 57-page complaint describes repeated allegations of abuse against the student who openly identified as Jewish at school: antisemitic slurs in the lunch line, Nazi salutes, Holocaust mockery, money-related tropes, and physical assaults.
In April 2025, classmates in the student’s P.E. class attempted to play a game called “Jew touch tag” (in which Jews are chased) and said Jews were “dirty” and “contaminated,” according to the complaint.
At the end of the 2024-25 school year, the family asked the school to separate their child from certain students in next year’s schedule and, if that could not be done, to help transfer him to another BVSD school. The complaint says the principal replied that the school would do its best to avoid scheduling conflicts and that an administrative transfer could be considered, but no concrete separation or transfer was put in place.
When the 2025–26 school year began, the harassment continued — and intensified.
In December, a classmate allegedly fashioned a Chromebook charging cord into a lasso, threw it around the student’s neck and dragged him backward from a chair while calling him a “stupid kike” — conduct so severe that the Boulder Police Department was called in to investigate.
A former friend of the student threatened to bring his father’s gun to school to shoot people and then allegedly stated in the student’s Spanish class that “Hitler should have killed all the Jews when he had the chance.” This was followed by an assault in March where a classmate kicked and punched the student multiple times and another in April when a different student spat in his face.
On notice
The student’s parents put the school and district on notice of antisemitic harassment in November 2024 and continued to provide them with written, documented notice until the present.
An April 2025 district investigative report attached to the complaint confirms the district found some of the incidents to be antisemitic bullying. The family argues that is proof that the district knew the behavior was real and motivated by bias.
The Boulder Police Department has opened two cases and has issued a juvenile criminal referral for third-degree assault.
The family submitted formal written demands for hallway escorts, but says the district denied that, failed to enforce a no-contact order, and failed to produce required written reports. It also alleges the district didn’t implement any system-level changes, such as school-wide communication, training, or other antisemitism-specific measures. The harassment and assaults continued.
Pasch said that families typically come to the ADL only after trying to resolve problems through school channels.
“This family, like so many other families that we represent, tried to work with the school through the system first, and they came to us when that failed to make an impact."
Pasch declined to speculate about specific decisions made by Boulder Valley officials, but he said many school districts are not responding forcefully enough to what is taking place across the country.
"In the wake of the massive spike of antisemitism at our educational institutions over the last couple of years, there has been a real lack of leadership in meeting the moment, and in speaking with moral clarity and understanding that all educational institutions have a legal obligation to address discriminatory hate within their walls."
Student forced to leave school
As a result of these incidents and the pervasive antisemitic climate, the student no longer wears a Star of David necklace and does not share his religious identity with anyone, the complaint states.
It says the cumulative effect severely harmed the student’s mental health, education, and sense of safety, ultimately forcing the family to remove him from the school and begin planning to leave the district.
What the complaint asks for
The complaint asks the Office for Civil Rights to investigate and seeks remedies including antisemitism training for all teachers, staff and students, and a statement from the district to families that there was a series of incidents and that anti-Semitism won’t be tolerated. It also asks for a review of Title VI protection policies, stronger reporting systems, audits, reimbursement for related costs, and support for a transfer of the student if needed.
The ADL reports it has recorded 167 antisemitic incidents in Colorado in 2025, “a stark reminder that antisemitism is not something abstract – it is showing up in our communities, in our neighborhoods and even in our schools,” said Susan Rona, ADL Mountain States regional director.
I think every time I see DSA’s completely pointless neutrality posturing after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in 2022 get brought up four years later I can’t help but wonder what the hell national leadership was thinking by letting the international committee do that.
You could have just not done anything and spared yourself the trouble, the current administration keeps withholding any military support, why give yourself that black eye because you couldn’t keep a lid on it?
What gets me is, as it has always been, the insistance on neutrality on Ukraine/Russia while making taking sides on Israel/Palestine their whole personality and more important to their politics than anything domestic. Shows a tremendous lack of any principles beyond tribalism.
what unsleeping city plot are you referring to?
The plot where a real life Jewish man is brought back from the dead by a “phylactery” made of pure greed. And comes up with a plot to take over the world by hiring blood-sucking vampires that pray on young people, weaponizing his control over the financial system, and attempting to kill a Christian saint. It’s been ages since I saw that season— I’m sure the notes will remind me of something else I forgot.
For a long time, I took Unsleeping City as evidence that even extremely well-meaning authors and creators could accidentally fill their creations with antisemitic tropes. I thought Brennan couldn’t possibly have done all of that intentionally, because he’s married to a Jew, and his depiction of Willy the Golem was perfectly acceptable. I thought it must all have been some kind of huge oversight.
But based on how the past year at Dropout has gone, I’m not giving him the benefit of the doubt anymore. He’s happy to support and represent the kind of Jews you’d find at JVP, but clearly has no interest in deconstructing his internalized hatred against the (((greedy elite cabal))).
Listen, I dislike Robert Moses ON AN INDIVIDUAL LEVEL as much as the next person,
But there's a MASSIVE difference between saying the guy sucked and using him sucking as a vessel for a pile of antisemitic stereotypes and tropes as the Plot for your NYC based game.
We told y'all to punch left but y'all wanted your Nazi Titty Tattoo Daddy so bad and now white supremacy is going to weigh down on the entire party. But hey, at least the lefties got to own the libs.
