Flower Power
In Canada, given our harsh long winters, it is very unlikely that flora will be in bloom anytime in the near future. Fortunately for fashionista's in the northern hemisphere, fashion designers have supplemented the pain of winter dullness with floral patterns and embroidery glamorizing recent collections. I'm hoping with this trend in florals blooming, mother nature will take note and bring on some spring weather!

Doubtful...
But either way, whether it impacts the ridiculously low temperature or not, the textiles we see at Gucci, Clover & Canyon, Dolce & Gabanna, Etro, and other luxury designers alike, are absolutely stunning and make you want to act all European chic. Although it is a notoriously classy print and instantly triggers feelings of sophistication and vintage aesthetic; contemporary colour palettes are adding excitement to these patterned pieces leaving plenty of room for edgy personas to take part. The floral gives all the right impressions whether your going on a date, your headed to work, an evening affair, or what have you... what Im saying is no one is too edgy for this feminine pattern dream. But seriously if it does help the spring weather prevail, invest in floral... NOW.
