My Trailer For The 100 Season 5

My attempt at a Season 5 trailer for the TV show The 100 set to 2WEI’s epic version of Survivor. This is first time I’ve made a trailer, so let me know what you think in the comments. I spent a fair amount time trying to sync up shots to the music and musical phrasing, not just the cuts but sometimes actual movements of the characters or objects in shot. The rewind section back out to space was 21 times speed in reverse, and then 8 times speed reverse as we pull up into space. You end up with a shot of Murphy looking down from space and this is immediately followed by a shot of Octavia looking up to the heavens, which I like.

5 episodes in and It’s great to see some of these clips in their true context of the story. It’s also kind of weird too when you have worked on them to make a trailer. This trailer was originally posted on 24th April.

I edited the Kane bunker fight scene to a track from Spencer Brown’s new album. I love the staring competition at the start. Strong is the force with Octavia, turned to the dark side she has lol. I bet Star Wars wishes that it had a dark female character now!
