If there is no major damage, only some deposits on terminals are to be cleaned by a dry cloth.

i. First you have to connect one end of red cable to the positive terminal of dead battery and other end to the positive terminal of donor battery.
ii. Then a black cable is connected to the negative terminal of the donor battery and other end of the cable to a bare metal in your car.
iii. Then the donor car is made to start and then your car having the dead battery is started.
iv. After your car starts, you have to remove the cables in just the reverse order
2. If the problems are with starter, then you can hit the starter with a rod while turning the key on. If this step doesn’t make to start, then you may have to replace the starter.
3. If the culprit is other components like alternator or fuel filter, fuel pump or any wiring then you just have to replace them.
