“Trapped hmm… terrible.“

[They remembered when they were sealed in silver urn. Unable to move. Unable to see, hear or make sound. Slowly losing sanity. The fact that someone freed them was a miracle. They blinked out of the memory and smiled again.]

“Ah, Soulstream~ Some people call it Heaven but I prefer our name because that is what it is~ You can see it from Void~ Huge, beautiful and bright river of souls and energy~ Souls go there after death and then, after some time they get purified, reach their traquility and some go back to lead another life~ It’s essence of life cycle~ Or that’s what I believe in~ I… can’t really reach it~ I can look at it but there is no way that voidling like me would reach it… but it’s fine~! No one should disturb it~ It’s sacred~”

[They looked at her with bit of pity.]

“…and so, because you were trapped, you really might just lost your way there. Though don’t worry, one day you may finally reach it~ After all you’re soul~”

Chamomile tilted to the side slightly as she took in all of the information.

She paused a bit as she thought about it more.

[They took the flower and twirled it slowly in fingers.]

“Chamomile, huh~?“

[They touched the chest when asked about soul. Not many people, beside them, commented on it when it was not projected.]

“I uhh… not really. Just a bit if it sometimes crumble. But it’s not often. And it’s cold. It hurt when ice grew on it. But it helps to keep it together.“

“And you~? Not looking too healthy for me~ And it’s not common to meet beings like you~ …. …. why aren’t you in the Soul Stream~? Were you lost~?”

💚 Crumbling? Are you c0ld now? Maybe I could-

Chamomile paused though to listen when Beliad asked their questions. Her first question in response took no hesitation, however.

[Their ears twitched with curiousity when they heard the chimes. A response. They smiled sharpening their sdenses but without opening eyes or stopping the sound. Human? Was it human? No. Something was wrong. They prepared a bit of magic. Just in case of something bad happening. But the entity let them end. Finally they looked at their audience from under half opened eyes then bowed theatrically.]

“Oh, thank you~! Me~? I’m Beliad, but who are you, my dear listener~? Or, if I may ask, what are you~?”

They tilted head looking at the Soul with faint smile. What a fascinating curiousity. Something about it felt… familiar. The way they looked and communicatted… Bel wondered if their guest was something that escaped Void. Also if it’s still eatable. P’obably not.Glitches are not best thing to eat.]

💚 My n@me? I go by Chamomile

The lost green soul held out a flowering chamomile stem towards the cat human.

💚 What am I?

There was a long pause as the green apparition tilted her head, one hand raised to it as she thought.

💚 Human? Well, I was. Now… well, I don’t know, really. I’ve been called a green soul, but that was a long time agΩ.

The soul’s smell did suggest that it was still edible, but considering how Chamomile actually looked, it was unclear as to what eating the green soul would do. The apparition itself seemed to be a direct projection of the soul, as opposed to a physical body.

💚 Speaking of, I don’t know if I’ve seen a soul like that before. Does it hurt?

Even without tone, Chamomile looked concerned as she leaned forward, tilting her head to perhaps get a closer look at the soul shared between Beliad and Ayla.

And yet, although it was said, there was no sound from Chamomile. Just somehow the fact that what she said was indeed said.

💚 There’s nothing wrong with wanting there to be a way, right?

Chamomile looked away from Azule briefly to take in their surroundings, and she seemed to relax. This was a comfortable soul-space, one she was actually familiar with. Even if the owner of the soul-space might not have noticed her subtle and temporary entry.

💚 I am sorry for intruding, but I wanted to offer support, somehow.

[In the darker parts of Waterfall there was a hum echoing through the halls. The song was calm and maybe bit sad. If one were to follow it then maybe they could pick up the words in long forgotten language. And in one of spacious caves was standing a source of the song - a lonely catgirl with closed eyes, giving a concert but with no audience. Not like she was expecting anyone, but who knows who would she lure with her song?]

As strange words echoed through the caverns, a strange sound seemed to echo back. Very faint at first, and as time passed it faded in, and out, but grew louder. It sounded like metallic wind chimes, tinkling to the same rhythm of the song. Eventually, a faintly glowing green apparition appeared. Her face was shrouded in pixels, not unlike that of a Lost Soul, and there were holes completely through her visage.

Sitting not far from the cat girl, the apparition seemed to relax as she listened, the wind chime sounds continuing from her until the song stopped.

* Familiar.. sound

There was no voice to accompany the words, just somehow the fact that the words had been spoken.

* You sing very well. Who are you?

Seventh Level of Hell

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assassins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

What Lilli said… those were familiar words. Familiar feelings. She knew that they were alternates, but it was always surprising when some things were mirrored so directly. Anullos grit her teeth, her good eye closing as the nebula of red pixels that was her other flared. Clenching her hands, she knew what she wanted to do. She had to get there. Reach Lilli, even for a moment. But she didn’t know how, and she clenched her disembodied hands into fists. She swung in front of her, as though she could open the wall of the void.

And she brought the Null Blade through, tearing a temporary rift open to where Lilli’s avatar currently was.

Opening her eyes she stared, bewildered, at the tear, before taking the opportunity to pull herself through it. Sitting in her wheelchair, the glitched Chara looked at Lilli, crossing her arms and recovering a bit, her hands reattaching to her arms properly.

“Whø are yøu tø say sø?” She asked. Despite appearances, her voice was gentle, even if there was something unpleasant about the partially glitched sound.

Holding a hand to her throat, Anullos coughed, before wincing and continuing, “Yøu are here. Wherever ‘here’ is, is irrelevant. And being ‘alive’, in whatever way that appears, that is what matters. Yøu exist, thereføre, cøntinuing, living, being, this is in yøur right.”

“Wait, yøu mean nøt everyøne tests høw sharp they can make a candy cane?” Anullos scratches at her head in confusion, “Nøt even før stabbing, it’s… just tø find øut, really. If it were used før stabbing, it’d shatter after øne use and then yøu have less candy cane.”

Anullos looks strangely bewildered over such a small detail…

Anullos tilts her head, giving a slight smirk as she looks at the human Beliad, "You take that form well," she commented, covering her glitched left eye to see them better, "I was wondering, how often did you encounter others like you in the Void?"

“Thank you~ i take it well because I know it’s temporary~ And this is how I am~ I try to adapt and make the best out of situation~ No reason to worry about it if I can’t do anything with it than wait~“

“And what exactly you mean by ‘others like me’~? Just other voidligs~? That… depends. It’s hard to answer ‘how often’ when time in Void is weird~ But I usually encounter few when I need to move from my zone~ But unless I need to meet someone I rather avoid them~”
