its scary to think that      you’ve given your love to this one person      and not being able to give much for the next      because you have given your all

i tried to ignore it. ignoring it meant covering up a wound with a useless band-aid that no longer sticks.

ignoring it allowed me to cause more damage than i was willing to prevent.

its 2018 and im still anxious 24/7 worrying about my self-worth and inability to give back
