A compilation of self indulgent ND HC’s I have for for Sundrop/Moondrop together and separately
⭐GENERAL(both)⭐
Both sides of DA are ND this isn’t up for debate to me!
Both have autism
Sun has ADHD & Moon has ADD
They each have a loud noise aversion
On a side note they both also have varying levels of OCD, Sunny having more intense compulsions than Moon does towards their overall space but Moon caring more about small details
Monty is a huge comfort for DA for different reasons
☆SPECIFICS AND SEPERATE HC’S UNDER THE CUT!☆
☀️SUNDROP(he/they/it/sun)☀️
Color driven as all hell, self dubbed “Monty green” is their favorite and soothes him when they see it
Loves the texture of beads and wears Kandi as comfort, thus gifts kandi to Monty as well to share the same comfort they get out of it
Stims often and openly rocks/sways/spins/moves its hands ALOT no matter what they’re doing, this is also used to teach kids the importance of normalizing/encouraging stims and other ND behaviors
Is very active and has a difficult time fully relaxing or allowing sunselves to be unproductive, always eager to suggest activities no matter the time!
Incredibly hyperverbal as well, being quiet too long actively upsets him
Not specifically an AUT HC (though it is often seen in ND individuals) but has severe Atychiphobia
Could also be an AUT trait but I HC it more as OCD (maybe both?) but Sun will have meltdowns if their space or routine is messed with too much a day
🌙MOONDROP(he/they/moon/star)🌙
In the same way Sundrop enjoys Monty’s colors Moondrop enjoys his textures, both the bumps of the molded on scales/the smoothness of the underbelly type bits on Monty are very big comfort textures to them
Whenever Monty’s braids become undone Moon will carefully re-braid them as a grounding exercise that helps calm starself down
Has a harsh light discomfort and as a result almost if not complete darkness is a comfort to them
Textures are a very big deal to him, liking soft and silky textures more than rough textures (not necessarily bumpy though, those are nice), and absolutely hating sticky or gummy textures
Will often go nonverbal, sometimes spending hours or days without talking (not a bad thing though, however it def confused Mont the first time)
Dislikes odd numbers and will count even small things repeatedly to make sure they are completely even (i.e. the amount of chairs/supplies/towers in the daycare)
Is less open to stimming in big groups due to the fact he doesn’t socialize as much as Sunny does but hops from foot to foot and contorts themselves as stim when in less populated spaces or completely alone (exception of other animatronics)
Hanging on the aerial wire is also a comfort for moon
Am I the only one that finds Monty a REALLY pleasing shade of green?? It’s like that perfect soft green and it may be the autism but like I can FEEL the color in my head? It’s so soothing?! (which is ironic given Monty’s nature)
Anyways DA is autistic (you can rip this HC from my cold dead hands) and often just STARES at Monty or longs to be around him because his color is so nice and calming, Sundrop specifically will keep items of a similar color because they remind him of Monty and help them feel better when overwhelmed.
This is more pointed towards Sunny who I HC as color driven but works for either DA
I feel like DA def has mad kandi skills, they out here runnin the daycare and we all know how lil kids are all OVER beads and shit, having alot of free time on their hands they’ve got a collection of odd skills and kandi making is one of them, they always wear cuffs and singlets and bead chains and will often gift them to kids throughout the day
Monty absolutely has a dragon esc treasure horde of kandi gifted to him from DA and REFUSES to trade with anyone but DA, I think he’s tried making them on his own but has gotten little further than a few singlets (we love the effort though big guy just keeps breaking them), DA is always open to helping him out though!
Okay okay okay, so we all know the glittergolf dynamic of Sunny feeding Monty’s ego (so true)
but hear me out: Sunny deserves just as much validation!
I personally really like the idea of Sunny having a hard day at the daycare and maybe a few off hand comments from Monty (he doesn’t intend to be mean but lord knows this gator is so awkward and bad at phrasing) lead Sunny’s anxiety to spiral. Monty notices and can tell something is obviously wrong, upon prompting Sunny to talk about it they go on a whole rant about their day.
Long story short y’all are SLEEPING on the idea of Sunny sitting in Monty’s lap while receiving comfort and affirmations and just the idea of Sundrop getting pets while Monty tries his damned hardest to be quiet and comforting telling him he’s good at his job and the kids love him and how good of a partner they are fucking 10/10 shit <3 <3
Hate to gripe about that last point but when looking at the models the daycare attendant is actually smaller than Freddy while standing straight, Vanessa is nearly as tall as the daycare attendant too.
Really love all the other things you pointed out btw, they're just good things I've never really seen others point out yet.
Thanks for the fucking support dog love to see it frfr but to my knowledge isn't the in game model showcase (if that's what you're going off idk tbh) not very correct? I'm going off only IN GAME content and tbh the animatronics are very weirdly sized in general? Anyways here's the screenshot I went off of for my idea lol
While it is at a slight angle Sunny isn't much shorter than Freddy AT ALL even WHILE crouched so I just assumin that when he's standing he'd be taller but tbh I aint too solid on that
