Rough experiment + warmup

I hate making neat lineart with a passion, but I also don't like doing lineless work, so I wanted to try incorporating my sketch into my final art and I guess it looks okay... ish.

I could definitely touch up a couple more things, but I was too sleepy when I drew this haha

In my journey of combating burnout and artblock I've been learning how to crochet things, and after many trial and error I finally got to this point in making my first whale fella

Once this is finished I want to try making some more, and by the end of it all I want to try my hand on making some OC amigurumis!

My current goal is to make four whales each for me and my roommates, and then I wanna learn how to crocheti cats :3c

Had a dream where Warframe has their own exhibit irl and it looks a lot like those fancy interactive art ones. Each warframe has their own room and theme, also the exhibition is right next to DE's HQ.

All of the models are 3D printed and you could even see how the abilities work with the work of practical and light effects that will change in a push of a button, complete with a disembodied voice (Lev?) that explains the ability to you.

One thing that stuck to me is that somewhere in the upper floor there is a bar that's themed around Lavos, where you'll be served drinks in various glass vials.

This year I seem to be obsessed with blue hues and glowing flowers <3 I also wanted to challenge myself by painting something in the perspective outside of my comfort zone and try out painting half-submerged figures. I've still got a long way to go but for now - I'm quite satisfied~
