That Dmitry scene

(Warning: spoilers)

All of it was awful for several different reasons.

1. No means no. This one’s obvious. If a man is pushing your face away, damn. That’s a hell no.

2. Why she did it. Manipulation. She wanted to avoid answering Dmitry’s questions. I get that him not trusting her stings, but he was right. He absolutely cannot trust her. She proved it.

3. Continuing out of spite. Because he said no and doubted her honesty. If the genders were switched, no one would question that this is sexual assault.

4. Coercion is okay if it’s the woman doing it. That’s what this scene says. Thankfully, most people have brains to recognize that this is bad. But if there are those who don’t, this is a very dangerous and disgusting thing to perpetuate.

5. The graphic details. I always find bj scenes to be gross anyway, but the choking bit makes it even more gross. Is that part necessary? Are there people who find this alluring? Also, I’m tired of this obsession with size. Why does every guy have to be too big? It’s dumb and boring. Plus that 💩 hurts!

Overall, this is a great way to ruin your MC. Have audiences and her LI lose respect for her. Just, why? Does Sasha really think this is sexy? This makes me want to drop my Dmitry slot. It’s a shame because I really like Dmitry. But I don’t see how it can be recovered. Thankfully, there are other LIs to fall back on. Time to go back to my Greg slot…

dmitry’s my love interest and i was SO uncomfortable reading that scene. he’s such an amazing character and deserved such a better intimate scene. i understand they want to make lane manipulative and stuff, but come on… you can showcases her flaws without showing her disrespecting someone’s body and ignoring the fact that they said NO.

but seriously, sasha’s treatment of anna, greg, and now dmitry too needs to be addressed. if she’s going to continue writing for rc she needs to know her audience and treat her characters better. the sidelining, weird homophobia dialogue with anna, and now an sa scene?? enough is enough. it’s time for her to not just read but hear our feedback and take it onboard
