“You don’t sound too fond of it—I mean have you ever been in love?” She was abit confused at his reaction but maybe It was due to the fact he was abit distracted by his training and she sitting there and talking didn’t help. “ I suppose I just wanted to get your attention but came out sounding more like a idiot then all else…sorry um I’ll leave so you can train.” Standing to her feet she cleared her throat, placing her bag onto her shoulder as she made her way down the arena steps heading towards the exit.

           “hey, buddy!” laughter left the hero’s throat as his best friend continued to lick at his face. he instantly knew that pegasus had grown anxious and bored, and wanted to spread out his wings. “alright, alright!” his hands tried to wipe away the slobber upon his face. “wanna fly around and see if we run into some trouble?”

   quickly, she takes up her OWN suitcase from the pile – it makes her feel better to know that she’s carrying at least some of the weight, even if he’s more than capable. the concierge, or one of their small entourage of servants, ought to come get their bags soon. of course, leaving her to manage the luggage wasn’t fair, but her older sister helped their mother inside, then her younger siblings went running off, and poor papa has to follow them to make sure they didn’t get into trouble… even in a large family, it can be easy to be forgotten.

   “ tatiana, ”  she says, offering her hand. ( of course, she doesn’t expect him to bow here. )  “ it’s very nice to meet you… and thank you again for the help. i wouldn’t normally handle all of this on my own – ”  back home, they had people to do that for them –  “ but my family is travelling unaccompanied this trip. it’s an… experience for all of us. ”  she hesitates before tilting her head.  “ i suppose you’ve lived in this town for a WHILE? ”

          he gave a quick glance down at her extended hand before enthusiastically taking it in his own hand, giving a sweet shake before letting go. ❝ ah, don’t mention it. it’s the least i could do, really. ❞ he smiled as he listened to the young woman speak before him. ❝ oh -- yeah! born and raised here. it’s just me and my mom and pops. we’re farmers -- but i feel like i’m destined for something else, ya’ know? ❞ he trailed off, afraid that he might be speaking out of line. not that he was ashamed of being a farmer, but he never fit in here. 

          ❝ if you ever need anyone to show you around, i can be your guy! the town center is usually all full of some fun stuff -- demetrius owns a pottery shop, his artwork is pretty popular here, if you ever want a souvenir. ❞
