Marilyn Monroe by Barbara Leaming

I love this book so much! I personally think it really humanize do Marilyn Monroes life and put in perspective what she went through to get to where she got. Marilyn's life wasn't amazing but she made it at least look spectacular. I love Marilyn Monroe just like that's of girls my age. Her quotes are inspirational and I love her a lot. I would recommend this book to anyone who even knows about Marilyn Monroe. You should go read it anyway you can. Until next time...💜

Being A Vegan

I believe that we should all treat our bodies like a temple. What you put in your body is your decision. Your relationship with food is as important as your relationship with anything else. I have personally struggled with bulimia and self image issues. I am not a vegan but I do feel that being a vegan is a personal choice and it’s not one that I am willing to make at this time. I use a lot of vegan hair products and face products and makeup. I personally don’t think that an animal deserves to be a victim of my mascara. What we try and test on animals isn’t good for them and nobody deserves that because people are animals to. Being a vegan and not eating animal products is a hard life style to make if you aren’t doing it right. A controversial YouTuber named Freelee is a vegan and she talks about the vegan lifestyle and she has a book with vegan lifestyle tips and recipes. I think Freelee is a good YouTuber and she has lots of good tips and tricks for people to use to help them be a vegan successfully. Being a vegan is a lifestyle choice. It has lots of benefits and it is hard to adjust for some people but if you do it right it can be so great and healthy and beneficial. I’m not a vegan. I am not at a place in my life where I am ready for the vegan lifestyle but it is something I want to accomplish sometime in my life. Until next time…💜

The Constitution

Since its voting season I decided lets talk about the constitution. Now if you're new to this blog... I'm so sorry but if your not... I'm still sorry. Anyway let's talk about the constitution and our presidential candidates. Let's start with a controversial statement... The second amendment. So the second amendment basically says everyone has the right to bare arms. Now, what Hillary Clinton wants to do is remove the second amendment which isn't impossible but isn't very likely. In order for the second amendment to be removed over 75% of the people who help pass laws need to approve which is highly unlikely. Now to Donald Trump. Donald Trump wants to build a wall and run out all illegal immigrants. The problem with this is in the bill of rights it says that everyone is treated equally. Another thing is you can't just knock on someone's door and say are you illegal because they have the illegal documents to show you. Another part of this is because everyone in America must be treated fairly Donald Trump can't segregate people based on whether or not he thinks there illegal immigrants. All in all I think it's important to remember that everything has to go through congress and many other people before being approved so many of the things these candidates say probably won't happen. OMG! I saw 5sos live in Kansas City! It was soooo amazing! Seeing them live was like absolutely incredible. Somehow I feel like it made them like so much more real and they felt like real people. They were funny and the performance was amazing! And I could almost swear I made eye contact with michael and it was amazing! Considering I'm a michael girl. Let's Talk About Politics

Okay so I know politics are a sore subject for many but I think that it's especially important this year as many of the candidates are very controversial. So I think it's important to vote because if you have any opinion at all you want your opinion to be heard and you don't want to end up with a president you don't want. So now let's talk about the candidates... TRUMP- Donald Trump has been very controversial because of the things he has said. Although Trump has stated things he would do as president which does mean he is taking initiative for making his campaign slogan, make America great again, more of a reality. Even though I don't agree with everything Trump says or does I do have to give him props for actually trying to make things happen. HILLARY- Hillary Clinton does have the experience from being First Lady when her husband, Bill Clinton, was in office. She was also Secretary of State. Many people say that it is time for the Clintons to retire from the White House. Although many young women want Hillary to be president because she would be the first female president and that would be a major mile stone for America. All in all I think you have to decide which candidate has values you want. There is many difficult things in this world right now so I think we really have to evaluate who is going to help us in these times the best. It’s time for a top five. A top five is where I talk about my top five favorite things and usually there is a theme. This weeks theme is music albums.

1. Troye Sivan- Blue Neighborhood I personally love this album because it sends such a great message and the blue neighborhood trilogy is abSOLUTELYY AMAZING! I love troye so much he is absolutely incredible like words cannot describe.

2. Melanie Martinez- Cry Baby I love this album because it goes so much deeper than the words that Melanie is saying. She says so much in all of her songs and all of the songs revolve around one theme cry baby.

3. Halsey- Badlands This album is INCREDIBLE! Halsey is basically one of my queens and she slaaaays. But I love this album because it has the same meaning that I think is in the crybaby album. The meaning goes so much deeper than the words and you don’t forget what she says.

4. Tyler Oakley- Pride Jams Coming in at number four is the queen herself… Tyler Oakley. Okay so tyler doesn’t actually sing in the album but it is full of great meaningful music from so many different LGBTQ+ artists and with all the hate it’s always good to spread the love.

5. 5SOS- Sounds Good Feels Good OMG! This album is great! I have loved 5sos since they were in fetus form. I am going to there concert this weekend in Kansas City and I am so exCITED!! This album is one you can dance to and can describe every feeling ever!!! Also with 5sos is there opening act Hey Violet another great band you should check out.
