Who is your main team in HSR 👀

OKAY so

Right now the team I'm maining is Castorice, Evernight, Renemberence trailblazer and Hyacine simply because I like the duality of a little cute Pegasus cutting through enemies followed by a dragon blowing up (I realize this sounds wild to anyone else reading this but star rail is a wild game)

BUT!!!

I'm leveling Mortenax blade and in the relic mines so he can revive my Archeron team, I'm very close to having him built the way I wanted and excited to play that team again

Nikolai likes forehead kisses.

He likes pressing his lips to John's head when the man is half asleep in their bed, bleary eyed and voice grizzly.

He loves grabbing John's waist when the man is walking past him in the kitchen, and planting an overdramatic smooch on him while John mutters in protest.

He's intimately familiar with the tiresome, aching that their job entails, physical or not. Despite the lack of space, he and John find themselves sharing their shower when the captain is too fatigued to lift his hands to wash his hair. Everytime he presses a kiss to John's head, lets the water hit hiss back and holds John's weight until the man can bear to stand on his own.

Selfishly, his favourite is when he's stretched out over his arm chair in their living room and John plants a soft kiss on his brow when he walks past, intent to go to bed and allow Nikolai an hour or so of quiet that he needs at the end of the day.

The reporting on it has been terrible but I want to be clear about the Belfast riots from someone who lives here: the distinction of it being British loyalists who might kill people for calling them Irish doing the rioting does matter, not least because, in contrast to what knuckle dragging settlers on social media would have you believe, ‘the Irish’ have literally been patrolling the streets to protect migrants. Racism absolutely exists amongst Irish communities as well, but I need all of you to understand that in this specific instance you are doing more harm than good by spreading the false notion that ‘both communities’ are coming together in these riots, and by contributing to the British press’s refusal to name loyalist paramilitaries as still a major problem in this city. You don’t have to believe me, specifically, but please understand that there are multiple dimensions to our politics which cannot be ignored if the goal is actually to build a better society for everyone, and look into what people who actually live here are saying and doing about it before jumping to conclusions.

Nikolai loved cooking.

He loved trying out new recipes, dishes he had learned in various countries or an amalgamation of what he thought he thought might pair nicely.

He enjoyed the smell lingering in the kitchen of the flat, how warm he'd get while standing in front of the stove. He even liked having to gently bat the cat's head away from any ingredients he had sitting out because he adores her, but he cannot justify letting cat tongue touch his dinner.

Even when he had to wash all of the dishes, pans and cutlery, even when some meals didn't quite taste right and were followed by a chippy, he loved it.

Sitting on his couch, in a quiet flat with reheated leftovers from the day before, is soul-crushing. He hasn't gotten used to cooking without John in the flat, and he still prepares too much.

As promised, there it is ! 17k words lighthearted NikPrice fic <3 These two have been circling around each other for twenty years and are finally doing something about it.

Summary: Things have been different between John Price and Nikolai as of late. The two men have always been close, but something changed. Now, Price is forced to go on medical leave after a disaster of a mission. Nikolai offers a fishing trip, something he knows his favorite captain enjoys, a nice way to relax, and maybe let their relationship evolve.
